Pin Adventure Attendees, please read!

Here’s a chance for you to be an official Great Pin Adventure “pin donor.”

I know we all wish that everyone from the DIS could be at the big pin event in August. But here’s your chance to help those who can’t come be a part of the fun. With the official blessing of Arizona Jeff and Mean Laureen the cheerleaders are sponsoring a pin drawing to be held at the big August 11 meet. You can read the details of the drawing on the post entitled, “Be a part of the Pin Adventure even if you aren't there.”

We are asking anyone who will be there and would like to be a part of this to donate a pin to the drawing. Of course, none of us know at this point what LE pins we will even be able to buy -- so we don’t expect anyone to commit to donating an LE. But hopefully there will be a lot of rack pins released during the event also that will be readily available and could be purchased as a donation -- and if anyone does get an extra LE that they would like to donate, we’ll certainly be glad to accept it! We'd like for pins to be from the pin event (to make the non attendees feel like they were there) but donations are definitely not limited to only pins from the August pin event -- all donations will be welcome!

How do we get them to you?

Kathryn,
Just bring the pin with you to the pin meet on August 11. We will have the names of all the people who have entered the drawing in a bowl. You will draw out a name to send your pin to. I will have an envelope there for you and Robin will have a label with the person's name and address ready for you to stick on the envelope. That should keep it completely fair -- you draw the name yourself for the person you are sending your pin to. I will keep all the envelopes together and mail them all at the same time the next day. Hope that makes sense!
