Do non-Concierge guests have access to pillows available concierge guests? There's a particular pillow available that I'd like to use, if I can. Otherwise, it means packing one the pillows from home.

I'm hoping I'll be able to ask our stateroom attendant for one.

The pillow options are supposed to be a concierge perk. You could try asking your stateroom attendant but there are no guarantees and then you would have to use DCL's pillow if you didn't bring your own.

My sister in law asked while on the Fantasy for the special cooling pillow like one used in Concierge (sorry don’t know the details of the pillow). She was very politely told it was not possible. She even tried to buy one, but no go.

I don't have any advice, just wanted to say Hi, Neighbor! from a little further up river in the Mon Valley.

So now you have me wondering, how are the pillows on the DCL? that's one thing I hadn't thought about

terrible imo. they're almost hollow, they feel so cheap, the poorest quality Ikea-type pillow.
I've taken my own pillow for the past 3 cruises and I've never slept better/happier.
Sleeping in a cruise ship (or on any vacation, really) with your favorite pillow is almost a life changing experience.

Until you accidentally leave your favorite pillow in your hotel room in the the Tetons and you can never find a great pillow like that again!

On that note, can you request extra pillows? I'm of the type that sleeps with like a million pillows...

DCL pillows always seem to frustrate me. One isn't enough, but two are too much. That being said, in all of our travels I've rarely found pillows that were as nice as what we have at home. I think it boils down to - if you are picky about your pillow (anywhere!!) pack them. Otherwise be prepared to compromise. For me the motion of a cruise ship is so soothing that it's a nice trade off for the basic pillows. While I'm not a fan of DCL pillows, I sleep like a baby on their ships. But then I sleep well on ANY cruise ship. It's like rocking in a cradle.

I always bring mine but put on a dark colored pillow case. This keeps the host from taking it and keeps me from forgetting it as it sticks out against the white bed linens.

^^^ This! I need my buckwheat pillow or I can't sleep!
My husband loves the pillows on the ships, he came home and found them and bought a couple.

I have gotten extra pillows, but there were two of us in a room able to hold 5. Our attendant just took them off the other beds. If you room is full, I don't know if extra pillows are available.

They're like like $30 at Costco... novaform or something... I've lost a couple on business trips and it's no big deal.

I thought the pillows were horrible, to the point where I did ask the stateroom host for other options and he didn't offer any of the concierge stuff. I love WDW pillows so I thought I would be fine, but nope. That coupled with the horrible mattress on the pullout couch (we had two non-couple adults in the room) has me seriously rethinking DCL for the future. I've got a bad neck so it was rough for me.

The pillows on DCL aggravated our family's allergies, so we requested memory foam pillows after the first night or two. That request was accommodated, along with a request for an air purifier! I'll be asking for both as soon as we board our next cruise (or before.)

You had a pull out couch or do you mean the couch where the back is turned into a twin sized bed?

Our next one will be 2 non-couple adults in one room, too and I'm worried about comfort.
