I am the queen of window seats. And I actually like misaligned windows so I get the side of the aircraft to rest upon...

However...I'm stuck on a flight with only middle seats available on booking :sad1: :sad2:

Anyone know a good one?
I know these sort are good

But I'm looking for something sold in Australia??

Something that is that really light cushie material :thumbsup2

Thanks all...

Hi

That is the sort of thing. But I'd prefer something that doesn't have white in it and comes in a solid colour
[No I shouldn't be that picky...but...I am ;)]

Thanks!!!

have you tried the higher level 'outdoors' stores like Paddy Palin, Mountain Designs etc ?

Google searches have been a nightmare but I did yesterday arvo get Rays Outdoor World and Kathmandu coming up with options.

So I'll look into Paddy Palin as well. Thanks for that :)

I know I've seen these sort of things in those 'temporary' set ups at Shopping Centres and RAS Easter Show but never really paid attention as they always looked a bit big. But I just don't know where they'll be at the moment. So I'm looking for actual shop options.

Thanks all!!
Seems the UK have the best options around...

I think you mean the Cuddle Buddies...

We bought a couple of the CBs for the plane. Problem is that the stuffing/beading inside is so fine that it moves with your head pressure and I found them uncomfortable after a while. The material they use is nice; but is also is stretchy...which all helps the beads move and bulge out when you want it to stay in place.

Would you believe that the best ones we've gotten were purchased at the airport shops? Sadly, ours are kaleidescope in colour but when my eyes are shut, it makes no difference at all....still can't sleep on planes!

The trouble with cuddle buddies is that they are neck specific shape. I want a column shape.
I don't want blow up ones.

The thing about the beads is that it actually helps nullify vibration
The column one in this is what the Monkey used on long flights

Sigh...I'll have to go to Kathmandu. They have an interesting one...

Thought I'd just update this with what I used on all the flights

I really liked this. I kept it as a neck pillow because it seemed to work best with the seating arrangements on the aircraft. But I did like that I could also turn it into a flat pillow.

It is a bit bulky. That would be my only complaint. So if you're happy with the blow up ones...then stay with that...
But this was really good. In combo with my noise cancelling headphones and eye mask I was good to go comfort wise. Didn't sleep as much as ideal because these shorter flights between syd-asia then asia-Europe weren't quite 'long enough' to get as settled and unlike United they didn't shut the lights off as dark for as long. But it'll be good on a US flight.
