Pillows at OKW

I should have paid attention when I was there. I loved the pillows in my 1 BR at OKW. They were so good. It's exactly what I need. Anyone know what kind of brand or what type of pillow they are? I know it's an imitation hypoallergenic down type pillow, but I've tried many of those before but none ever compared to the ones in the bedroom at OKW.

I don't know about the pillows, but in case anyone is interested...

We toured SSR last trip and LOVED the furnture. I found out that DVC uses Thomasville Furniture to decorate.

Another vote for those pillows at OKW!!! We stayed there in June and each of us, DH, DS, and I, fell in love with them. DS even wanted to know if his souviner could be the bed and pillows...lol

If anyone knows the brand and info, please post it...we just bought a new mattress set and would love to get new pillows like the ones at OKW.

Just so happens we are at OKW right now. We're in a studio so I can't confirm if these are the same pillows in a one bedroom. I'll see if I can find out tomorrow from housekeeping. Here's the scoop on the studio pillows.

After taking the case off and reading the tag it contains the following:

Pillow by:
Carpenter Company, RR#7 Box 614 RT 220, Altoona, PA 16601.
Style: Beyond Nature
Fin. Size 20x26 inches
All new material consisting of Polyester Fiber
Cover: 100% Cotton

That's all I know for now. Off to bed to put my head on one of the pillows.....night.

I'm actually going to see if the local JCPenny has them in stock before I order, but it looks like we'll be getting new pillows soon to go with that new mattress!

Well I went to JCPenney to buy them yesterday and had to fight with them to get the sale price. All pillows are 40% off this week. Woo hoo. However, they did not have the "Soft" pillows in stock, yet they are shown on the JCPenney Website AND in their Catalog that sits right at their cash register. The sales person and manager debated with me stating that the internet is NOT the same as what is in the store. And since they do not carry the "soft" pillows in the store, I couldn't get the sale price. I argued that the JCPenney Sale Ad is on their website and the catalog is right next the register so I should get the sale price. I also argued that if I order them online I have to pay ALOT fo shipping.

I got the sale price. They ordered them for me from the catalog for $17.99 each.

I've been unable to confirm with 100% certainity that the pillows in the studios are the same as the 1 and 2 bedrooms. Several folks from housekeeping thought that they were the same though. I'll keep trying. I did find that there are multiple pillows in use here at OKW. The brand I referenced in my earlier post seems to be most prevalent.

There is another brand in use here that is much more firm and 'stuffed' than the Beyond Nature brand we discussed earlier. I looked at the tag on these and found the following:

Not to get off the main topic here but I find the pillows at OKW a bit to "FAT" for me. My neck gets kinked and by morning I have a severe headache. Does anyone know if OKW has flatter pillows that can be used if I were to contact housekeeping? Otherwise I plan on bringing my own next trip?

I guess you could use the ones that are on the chairs and the sofas and put a pillowcase over those. They are really flat pillows

Quick Update: My pillows from JCPenney were delivered yesterday. YUPPERS! Those are the pillows. I had my best sleep in a LONG time on my bed last night. Thanks for all the info.
