Pillows at Gran Destino

This may seem like an odd question, but can anyone comment on how firm the pillows at Gran Destino are? Someone said they were very firm/full, and most of our group are flat pillow sleepers. Obviously none of us want to be packing pillows, but while that can be tolerated for a couple days, a whole week on tall pillows becomes physically painful for 2 members of the group. Is GD a one type only pillow, or do they have some flat ones too? Thank you!

Just back from GD today. the pillows are fluffy/full, but have no support so if you use only one you end up sinking into it and lying pretty flat (though then the sides puff up around your face which can be a little claustrophobic). There did appear to be two types, as one of our pillows was way wider than the other 3, but they were all pretty soft. We've been in 3 different rooms over 2 trips, and all had squishy pillows.

I'm the opposite of you - at home i sleep with 2 extra firm pillows, and my back hurts if i lie flat - so the pillows have been a challenge. The beds are super comfortable, though.

I too need high pillows at night. I have severe COPD and laying flat results in my being extremely Short of Breath. I sleep virtually sitting up

Thank you so much for the good info! It's really amazing how much a pillow can impact sleep and stiffness, and it totally gets worse as you get older. It helps a lot to know we won't need to worry about the pillow situation.
