I found out about giving a pillowcase to guest services. When you give them.the pillowcase do you have to provide your own markers too or do they take care of that? This may seem like a silly question but I would love the help!:rolleyes2 :)

You have to provide the markers. I used fabric markers, others used sharpies. Also nice to include some candy as a "thank you" =) The ones we turned in on the Dream turned out awesome! Completely filled with tons of autographs. When we sailed the Mexican Riveria on the Wonder in 2012...not so much. =( But still a cool and free! souvenir. Also, be warned, I've been reading that Guest Services only allows you to choose EITHER "Mickey and Friends" OR "Princesses: and NOT "All Characters" as in the past. Don't know if that was just a few recent cases or the norm now?
Have fun!!!

We just got off the Wonder in Alaska. We had 2 staterooms, so I was prepared to get one pillowcase with Mickey and Friends and the other with Princesses. I gave our pillowcases and markers to guest services, and I learned a couple of things. They didn't need the markers, and they also said you can have 2 items per room, so both of the pillowcases ended up in my room. Now I want to get the other side embroidered. They are super cute!

Hi;

When leaving pillowcases at Guest Services, did you leave candies too for CMs?
If yes, what type of candies would be ideal?

Thanks,

you are allowed 2 items per stateroom for signatures. put everything into a ziplock bag with the markers you want to be used. Make sure your name and # are on the bag.
I have given scrapbook paper, a cardboard pic frame mat. they also ask you what characters you want to have sign it. You will get it back the last night of cruise.
I am sure any candy or treat they receive is a plus

This is such a neat idea. Can I give a piece of fabric so that I make the pillowcase later or is it better to give a completed pillowcase?

My daughter collects the vinylmations so I bought a 9inch plain white one and left that to be signed. Looks really good.
