Is Guest Services on the DCL still accepting pillowcases for souvenir autographs ? Some sites are saying yes and some are saying no . I went on the Dream last fall but did not do it because of conflicting statements . Just don't want my kids to miss out this year again if it is a possibility . Thanks in Advance

Everywhere I have read, they say "No". We were on the Dream last year and was the last group that they did it for. I am kinda of sad. We are going again this year and my grandson looks forward to this.

They haven't allowed items to be dropped off for autographs since about last August.

You can still bring the items. Just take them along to the regular meet & greets and the characters will sign them there.

Yes, I thought about this but I felt that a pillowcase would be hard for them to sign, even if I put something hard under it. This year, I thought I might do the picture frame mat since my grandson doesn't have one of those. Who knows, I might try to do the pillow case again and see how it goes. Unless I hear or see something else on here that I like better.

Bring an embrodery hoop (small one) with you and put the pillowcase in it where you want them to sign, then it will be taut. You can still put something underneath for support.

I placed a clipboard inside the pillowcase, then used four binder clips to attach it, brought fabric markers, and kept moving the pillowcase around to make space for them to sign. The clipboard made a nice hard space for them to write on.

Their was a group ahead of us in several meet and greet lines that were doing the pillowcases. Honestly, it was cumbersome as hell and a little annoying to be stuck behind.

They obviously took MUCH longer than the kids with autograph books!

And yes, the mom had them stacked with cardboard in between. It just took the characters a lot longer to write on the cloth.

We had fabric markers with us and had the folded right where to sign it. It did not take the characters any longer for us. It might depend on what the person was using to have them sign with.

It didn't take any longer for us either, and I speak from experience, having done both the pillowcase and the autograph books on separate occasions. But then I always have everything out and ready to go, pen opened, etc.

I sent my kids to Pluto's Pajama Party, and they came home with a pillow case souvenir. But no signatures on it.

I wish they would go back to accepting these at guest services. I hate waiting in line behind people with a bunch of stuff to be autographed. I don't really blame them as I really like the pillowcases and other stuff we had done back before this was discontinued, but it really slows down the line.

Love this idea. I would have never thought about a embroidery hoop.

I agree, I wish they would let us drop it off at guest services too!! Honestly, I would be willing to pay for this service. If they would charge like $10 or $20 per item, they would make money. When we dropped off our pillowcases in the past, we would also drop off candy bars for the staff for doing it.

I thought that you are limited to one item per person for autographs? If not, it should be.

If I am not mistaken, it was limited to two per stateroom.
I know when you could drop off things to be signed at Guest Services it was 2 per stateroom. But, now, with the "bring it to the meet & greets" being the only option, I'm not sure it's still that.

I was just saying I thought it was one item per person there. And, if not, it should be.
