pillow case signing

Is it true that they stop signing pillowcases on Magic? Our cruise is coming up in a month. We actually made six cases for each one of the kids! I'm so disappointed! They just absolutely won't do it? Please help! The kids were so looking forward to it!

I hope not! We had ours signed on the Magic on the March 6th cruise. It was great! I hope y'all have a great time!

They would not allow us to drop them off at Guest Services. I took them to an autograph session and a CM told me they would only sign paper items Then she offered to take them & have them signed & I could pick them up at Guest Services on Friday...

So yes we got them signed, but was a bit of a hassle to get it done...

I know it is disappointing when something can't get done...but remember that this whole pillowcase signing thing was never an official offering by DCL. It started as a favor for a few and then turned into a really big thing.....most likey due to word of mouth on this board.

I am just guessing, but I think Guest Service must have felt that it was getting out of hand and had to put an official stop to it. Again, a lot depends on the CM's on duty....

They might slip one or two through but six is quite a bit. I wish you luck but don't be disappointed if it can't get done. Of course...this is just opinion and your experience may be different.

Thanks for your reply. I should've explained it more clearly. My disappointment wasn't towards the decision of stopping the pillowcase signing, I understand that it was never official. I just wish I have never told the kids about this now that they're expecting it. I know they will be disappointed. Just learned another lesson to keep things to myself until it's done, especially with the kids since some don't understand as well. Oh well, maybe us adults will just have to carry the cases around hoping to run into all characters on board Again, anything for the kids, right?
