Well I tried my Pilates DVD again today. Only got throught the awareness and about 8 minutes after that!!!! IT is hard. But I am going to try it again tomorrow!!! We shall see!!
 
You can do it. You'll like yourself for it and it will get easier! ;)

How long is the tape? You have to start somewhere, and atleast you started. It is a beginning and you have to give yourself credit for what you did. Whatever you got through burned more calories than if you were sitting on the couch watching TV...I am proud of you...Keep it up and you will soon be through the tape. I have to look into these...
 
The tape is Pilates conditioning for weight loss. It has a 60 minute workout and 3 45 minutes at varying levels., I think I was on the begining one!!!!
 

Ok today I put in the pilates dvd again!!! I just started and concentrated on my breathing. didn't really break a sweat but know I was working. next thing I knew is it was 25 minutes later!!! Well I cracked and popped some but nothing hurt so I know I was just lining things up. I am a little sore but do not hurt. more like a little stiff!!! THis will take some getting used to but it was not bad!!!
 
WOW!!!!! That is awesome!!!! You should feel so proud of yourself for moving from 8 minutes to 25 in such a short time! :) GOOD FOR YOU! I am so happy for you! :) :) :) :) :) :)

Keep up the great work! I'm off to do my 20 minute pilates workout. I'll join you in the soreness today, ha ha! ;)
 
I have to say that I am a pilates lover!!! I did the 20 minute workout again yesterday (2nd time). This time was more difficult because my tummy muscles were sore from the first workout. But man, what a feeling of accomplishment. And I must be hallucinating, but I can see a difference in my tummy already! :) :) :) I am going to do the tape every other day. It is addictive!!!
 
Keep up the good work! Anything is better than nothing and you have to start somewhere! Pilates is so beneficial......it's just hard! LOL!!!!

I've never tried Pilates, it sounds interesting though.

Good for you for doing 25 minutes today. It's a great feeling to take control and do something like this, isn't it?

That's a link to the Winsor Pilates site. I bought the tapes from the site, but someone on the board said they saw them at Target (I think!) Hopefully the site will give you a good description of the workout. Better than I can, anyway! ;) I can tell you that it's a great workout for the tummy!!!! But it's not like typical crunches or sit ups. The movements are gentle and you don't do lots of reps of each move. It is gentle AND challenging!
