Yeah I feel bad for the people who don't like this atmosphere, but heck if I have to deal with not having bigger seats on the hulk, then let other people deal with this. Like you said, they have to accomodate to most of the people, so I guess I can't have my way with the hulk... This is one of those things you can't help like the coaster, right?
Exactly. This was the point I was trying to make.
Noticed, I never said
I agreed with her complaint. In my opinion, this is an open air type restaurant. One of it's attractions, aside from all the post-earthquake decorations, is being able to sit inside while enjoying the natural elements. If people don't like that, there are other joints that wont be like that. She is free to complain to Universal, and things could change if there are enough unhappy people, but for now, this is just a restaurant shell have to skip.
I just found it odd that in one thread you say it's not fair for you to have to skip an attraction because of something you can't help, yet in this thread you said that she should skip this attraction because of something she can't help. It just seemed a little contradictory. Regardless of being different threads, I was just trying to understand your stance on this subject.
Third, I am feeding the birds. so what. You are telling me you have never seen that done in your whole life. This isn't that obscure.
Just because other people do it don't mean it's right. I'm not crucifying you for feeding the birds. I'm saying that feeding the birds, in general, when done by anybody, is bad.
When my 4 year old nieces were feeding the birds at Universal, I told them to stop. I didn't think it was right that because of their enjoyment now, somebody could get hurt in the future. I also didn't like the idea of coming back a year from now a having one of those birds possibly attack one of my nieces.
No, the birds aren't organizing a militia. There is no coalition between the pigeons and the seagulls to "liberate" Richters Burgers. But what you are forgetting is that these are wild animals. They may seem very friendly when your feeding them, but they're not really trying to be your friend. All they care about is getting the food, and once they start losing their innate fear of humans (thanks to all the non-threatening people feeding them) they will start to take more sever measures to get food.
This is not a theory of mine; this is something that happens. It may not be happening right now at Universal, but Ive been to places where people can no longer sit outside without swarms of birds swooping down and stealing food from their plates.
Again, I'm not saying that you are the main cause of all this. If anything, your not accountable since you weren't informed. But this is something that people should not do.
