Pigeon Forge - Hotels Reasonable

We love Inn at Christmas Place but it is NOT cheap. I prefer to stay in Gatlinburg and take the trolley to Pigeon Forge so I only know budget in Gatlinburg.

Yeah, I like being able to walk out and find dinner so we normally stay in gatlinburg.

We have been able to book 2 bedroom condos within walking distance of the strip for the same price as a hotel room.

My husband and I travel to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg at least once a year and I've stayed at several places. The last time we went, I did Priceline for a hotel in Sieverville, which was considerably less expensive than staying closer to all the action. We ended up at the Baymont Inn and Suites for $39 a night. It took us longer to drive into Pigeon Forge for all the activites, but on the day we left, it took five minutes to get to the interstate.

Econolodge Riverside..Make sure you choose Riverside. I think there is another Econolodge in town. Can;t beat it for price.. A++++

I'm a little late to the party and this may have already been suggested, but we like Apple Valley Inn (Comfort Inn & Suites). Their standard room has 2 doubles and a pull-out couch. Indoor pool, and across from The Apple Barn- one of our favorite stops while in town! Across the street from a Walgreens in case you need anything last minute, and they always have hot apple cider in the lobby, too!

An old favorite (their wifi was really shotty, and we found the above hotel was cheaper by a few dollars each night) is Music Road Hotel- they have a lazy river, slides in their outdoor pool, etc.

Both options have a continental breakfast and free wifi. Enjoy it- we'll be heading back again for Thanksgiving this year!
