Looking for a place to stay at Pigeon Forge - clean, but cheap. We may try to make a budget trip run mid summer. We are 4 adults and 1 child - also want a pool. thanks,

Quality Inn & Suites at Dollywood Lane is pretty reasonably priced at $89 per night in mid-June for 2 queen beds. We stayed there a few years ago and it was clean. There is a free breakfast with biscuits & gravy and you can use the indoor pool at the Comfort Inn next door. Denny's is right next door and fastfood restaurants are close by. We'll probably stay there one night this summer. The kids want to try out their outdoor splash pool.

For more of an onsite waterpark (but more expensive), you could check out Music Road Hotel and Governor's Crossing both in Pigeon Forge. Music Road has a larger family room and Governor's Crossing has 1, 2, & 3 bedroom condos.

I was looking at that hotel but saw a little cheaper not sure where to stay

We are doing a condo in Riverstone. Booked it on VRBO and saved about a third over regular price.

The Inn at Christmas Place is where we are going to stay. The reviews all say its clean and a good price. I haven't been there yet, but have reservations for April. It's Christmas themed and every night Santa reads a story and there are free milk and cookies by the fireplace while he reads. Sounds magical!

We visit Pigeon Forge sometimes a couple of times a year. We always stay at Willow Brooke Lodge. It is Family owed clean and reasonably priced. They also have gravy and biscuits every morning. It is always just mom and me and we always feel safe at this hotel. Check it out!!

Governor's Crossing is nice and it has a water park type thing, we signed up for emails and they sent us a deal for $100 a night (I think it is considered Sevierville, but still close to everything). Christmas Place is nice around the holidays but rather expensive, not really feeling it for a summer trip.

A second recommendation for the Willow Brook Lodge. Within walking distance of a lot of stuff. If you go online you can sign up for their email list. You should qualify for discounts then.

Check out Spring hill suites...we found a coupon in the pigeon forge travel book. Includes breakfast...clean....good location...here now and enjoying it

About 5 years ago we stayed at Creekside Inn (http://www.thecreekstoneinn.com/) in Pigeon Forge. We booked a King suite with fireplace for something like $50 a night. We thought we had a good deal on a jr suite style room with a king bed, fold out couch and kitchenette. What we GOT was an AWESOME price for a 1 BR suite that had a separate room for the king bed (with it's own balcony door), an alcove at the front of the main room with a queen bed, kitchenette, sitting area with fireplace and second balcony.

It's an older hotel, but was really clean. There is a free breakfast, but nothing to write home about. There is a pool; fine but nothing special. For the price and what we got, I was extremely happy with it.

Red Roof Inn, stay there everytime we visit!!! The nicest employees, very clean, indoor pool, and continental breakfast.

In January, I stayed at the Econo lodge Riverside in Pigeon Forge. I had never in my life stayed at an Econo lodge (mostly been scared too) but it was so much more than I expected. Honestly, it was better than most Holiday Inn's I've stayed at (which is about the lowest on the hotel totem pole I'm willing to go).

The indoor pool area was nice, and the river is out back just across from the parking lot. I had a jacuzzi in my room, and it was moderately priced. So worth it.

There are two Hampton Inns there, one is quite a bit less than the other. Corporate account #0560041604 (Hilton MVP Rate) will take 20% off the best available rate at Hampton Inn. For the dates I was looking it would make the less expensive one $64/night.

We love Inn at Christmas Place but it is NOT cheap. I prefer to stay in Gatlinburg and take the trolley to Pigeon Forge so I only know budget in Gatlinburg.

You might want to consider the Park Grove Inn. It is located beside the Red Roof Inn. It has pools, breakfast and every room has a balcony.

EconoLodge Riverside... have stayed there 3 times. It is a great place, decently priced... indoor pool/hot tub, breakfast each morning. What is really great is the Little Pigeon River running behind it, there are always ducks out there which the kids love to feed *adults as well*, and they have bbq grills out there for picnicking as well.

If you're willing to wait & you're looking for something really cheap, you could try priceline closer to the time of your trip. My sister used priceline last year & stayed at a pretty nice La Quinta Inn in Kodak for about $60 including tax.
