Pieced Together Christmas Week -- Will I Change Sites During the Stay?

So it took me a few months of stalking, but I have managed to piece together a 5 night stay at the Fort (26-29, 29-30, 30-31) -- all Full HookUp, so the same category.

Will these reservations be "associated" in the reservation system since they are in the same name?

We have a Class C, so moving sites wouldn't be a big production -- but it would take time away from our vacation.

What has your experience been?

Are all of the reservations in your name? If so I would call Disney to see if they can combine them into one reservation. I had a similar situation and they were able to combine the ressies for me.

I had several different reservations in February. They offered to combine them but it would have cancelled all of my fast passes ( I was within the 60 day window) so I opted to keep the different readies. We didn't have move but did have to visit the front desk to check in and checkout for each one. That was a pain but you will get magic bands for each one if you are collecting all of the colors!

I would call and combine them if I had the time

1) Usually, yes.
2) But, we have had to ask folks to relocate.
3) Usually because others wanted their site to be near or next to a friend or relative.

NOTE: Why you would want to be near a relative in a campground on a WDW vacation, I'll never know.

We were pieced together this past Christmas and didn't have to move. What we did have to do, though, is swing into the check-in desk in the morning of each new reservation and check back in. I kinda felt like the earlier I did that the more assured we'd be not to move, even though I was assured at our intial check-in that we'd be able to keep the same site. We also have a class C, so I know what you're talking about - not a huge production to move, but a chunk out of your vacation day if you have to do it.

ETA: We had all of our reservations linked, but I never was given any opportunity to truly combine them into one reservation. It took a couple of calls to link them since I got one CM that didn't know what I was talking about when I asked to link them, the next one knew how to do it

We are trying to add on a day at the beginning of our stay, Dec. 28. Lurking the site several times a day, especially around 7:00 am ET. No such luck yet for a premium site. We need two sites, one for ourselves, and one for DD, DSNL and three kids. Our least desired option will be to snag a resort stay for one night, and then come home to the Fort. Wish us luck, it is early yet. And Rusty Scupper, it is only a balmy 53 today. Yikes, where the heck is spring!?! Fox Lake is a nice area. Was is the dairy aire that chased you away.

I had to piece our resort stay for Thanksgiving time... Seems I will have to move on Thanksgiving day, as I couldn't find a preferred site, but hey at least I was able to get a full hookup site. I'm going to keep looking, As I still have time... I'm hoping preferred site will open up.....

By now you probably got it. If all your reservations are the same type (all Full, all Preferred, all Premium, etc.) as you say yours are, you won't have to move your rig. You probably will have to check in on the mornings of each reservation as KristinU says.

Varaletta, keep trying, especially around the 45 day out mark. I have been told by more than one person that this is around the time you gotta "drop the dates or pay the price". People will cancel in and around this time and open up some dates. You still have plenty of time and as long as you keep looking you'll get it.
