Pie?

My DH loves pie. We dont ever remember seeing pie in Disneyland or California Adventure. If any of you have seen pie, please let us know where and what kind. DH says apple pie doesn't count. Also, if you've experienced great pie in Downtown Disney, we'd love to know where and what kind.

There are little personal size blueberry pies at the Hungry Bear. I'm not a blueberry fan so didn't try them; I went for the lemon cupcake which was tasty. I believe I read that the new Jolly Holiday Bakery also serves miniature pies. I don't remember seeing them there in January and so don't know what flavors are served there, but that's definitely a place to check out. One of the new restaurants in Carsland opening this summer will also serve pies including apple-cheddar and cherry.

If you're looking for the Villiage Inn-style gourmet slices, I haven't seen any full-size pies anywhere in DLR, but if someone has, I would also love to hear about it.

Thanks. I saw the pie info on Cars Land and that's what started us thinking about it.

This restaurant is on Harbor Boulevard. I have not been there yet, but they serve individual and whole pies.

I am a pie girl myself! Give me a slice of pie over a slice of cake any old day. Anyway, here's the few we have tried.

• Plaza Inn has apple pie. I'm not a fan so I didn't try it but it looked yummy. At Thanksgiving, they also have pumpkin which was just about like any other pumpkin pie I have ever tried.

• *Big Thunder Ranch BBQ and Storytellers have Seasonal Fruit Cobbler which is sorta close to pie and pretty darn good.

Here are others that I found listed on menus but that we have not tried.

• Carnation Cafe - Baked Apple Pie

• Blue Bayou - Pecan Pie. I think they used to have key lime so it may or may not still be available.

• Whitewater Snacks - Pie of the Day

• House of Blues - Key Lime Pie

• Ralph Brennan's Jazz - Kitchen Key Lime Pie

• Rainforest Cafe - Tuki's Peanut Butter Pie

• And, on Harbor Blvd. Denneys has Apple Pie.

Not a lot of options. We pies lovers should stick together and get something done about this!

Thanks for your informative post. I didn't know the Blue Bayou had pecan pie or that Whitewater Snacks (we go there a lot) had pie of the day. We need to check out both of these pie options. DH agrees about sticking together and getting something done!

I didn't know WWS had pie either. Also love pie and had the Hungry Bear Blueberry but was not impressed..maybe it was an off day so will try pies in Carsland. Maybe pies will become the new fad to replace cupcakes..that would be good...
