Yeah ... Arthur is the sidekick who dressed all in white. I think he was either a termite or a moth. :rotfl2:

I think Jay would make a fabulous batmanuel, don't you? :lmao:

WOW! I had to look that up but YES! I think that would be a wonderful costume! :rotfl:

I thought Arthur was a bunny ;).

Lol at Batmanuel! You could be American Maid.:rotfl:

Well, if we were going to MNSSHP it would be a great idea for him but since we're not I guess we'll have to save it for another time. :thumbsup2

How about for the birthday meet?!:rotfl2: You just said that you are worried people would think you and Jay boring. I think this would stop that!

By the way Jason just yelled from the other room "I draw the line at costumes!"!:rotfl2:

Arthur is a moth (but is often mistaken for a bunny)

I'm packing light this year, and only bringing this to wear the entire trip:

I'll be there 2 weekends before I even get my Homer pin because Lori has it.

I thought she was going to mail it to you. :confused3

no, I'm going to get it when I get there. He won't really work on Halloween Horror Night. Of course I have another weekend after I get him. Which includes the World Showcase Domination Assault on November 1.

Ack, should I send out the pin? I did tell her that I'd just bring hers with me and she'd have it mid-October.

And I only saw The Tick animated version. I loved that show. I thought Die Fledermaus was pretty funny. But I really liked Arthur. :)

Hey there Robin! You missed us because you were on your own WDW vacation! :thumbsup2 Five more weeks to go - can't wait to meetcha!

Yep, I think you started this while I was in WDW. Now I have no excuse, I just can't keep up with this thread!

Looking forward to meeting you too! Sounds like it's going to be quite a crowd:cool1:

Our name tags for the DISmeet arrived yesterday ... nothing fancy but at least this way we will all know who the heck we are, especially once the booze starts flowing. :rotfl2:

My friend Nancy was nice enough to print them out for us, so big huggles and thanks to Mother Goose!! :grouphug:

Yay for nametags. I do think they'll be especially useful after a few drinks:rotfl:

Hey anyone who meets up before Brenda's Booze Fest take a picture and post if you don't mind! I'd love to see all the wonderful crazy people I speak to so often here! :goodvibes

Brenda - Jason and I were talking again (and I repeat AGAIN) how cool this whole thing is that you have started!
It will be either really wonderful and we will all have some life long friends OR the 7th horseman of the apocalypse. It's a win - win! Darn sorry.. I have been watching History channel repeats of the END OF TIME again!:rotfl2:

I totally agree, it is so great that you put this awesome meet together Brenda! I am so looking forward to meeting everyone:thumbsup2

don't worry Brenda. We will all have had so much to drink before we even turn up that everyone there will be fascinating...;)

:lmao:

I just made an assumption that you were going to mail it Lori - no big deal from where I sit as long as the creator is happy. ;)

And I never saw the animated version of The Tick ... just the short-lived show on Fox which we thought was a hoot. It's right there on the shelf next to the much under-appreciated animated show The Critic. :thumbsup2

Verified tonight that I did in fact order a cake for October 17th ... moved the delivery time back to 9:30 PM that night ... and asked if it was possible to have a goofy statue (preferably edible) as the cake topper. And then promised not to be a PITA for the next four weeks. :rotfl2:

I just realized you're in Ofallon. I lived there for 2 years...and we liked it there! Small world:hug:

Hi there! :goodvibes It's nice to come across someone from the same area ... I think I must scare away most people on the DIS who are from the St. Louis area.

updating the list of eateries for the trip ... removing Sci-Fi for all parties. Jay and I won't have enough time to get ready for early dinner at V&A if we accompany X&Y over there and they keep getting wanked by American and their arrival time has been pushed back again - we don't expect them to arrive at the BWV until nearly 2PM that afternoon.

didn't Auntie Crohn warn them about AA? didn't she tell them to wait for Southwest to open up their fares? sigh ...

Those young 'uns.:headache: They think we are dumb!:rotfl:

Given X&Y's erratic flight / arrival times, I am now free to book the culinary demo with Moonstruck Chocolates at 1pm on the 18th of October! And I just did ... yummy yummy yummy!!!! :cool1::banana:

LAST time we tried AA to Orlando from San Diego we were to fly and meet friends in LAX to go to WDW and AA called us that night at 11PM to tell us they cancelled our commuter to LAX and would be able to get us to Orlando till 9pm the next day! :confused3 They didn't even care we would miss our 7pm ressies for Raglan Road! :rotfl2: Seriously though I don't care for them! They change their schedule on you every time!

We hates AA!!! We've vowed never to fly them again unless there is no other alternative and they never even wanked us around as badly as they did you guys.

Totally unbelievable that airlines can get away with that crap. :headache:
