Is it wrong to call "dibs" on the Amarula? :teeth:

I'm surprised you're not bringing your new wine glasses. :rotfl2:
I thought the same thing when I saw the Amarula.

Was surprised to see American Honey. I like it but I didn't think it would be classy enough for the soiree.

You crack me up, woman! I am just so sorry we won't get to see this Brendavaganza up close and personal. There had better be lots of pictures.

I'm sorry you won't be with us, too. But I can promise lots of pictures!

I was planning on supplying more than one mini-Amarula ... somehow I thought there might be demand for that one.

And if I could figure out how to bring the glasses I would! :lmao:

Hmmm...I wonder if it's too late to change our December trip to October...:rotfl2: Those miniatures look perfect in that chest!!!

Denise

It would be a hoot if you could join us! And the chest is perfect, isn't it? I was just sitting around the house Friday night and all of a sudden I realized that we had the perfect booze-compartment!

Hiya, Bendy girl! Just checking in....

Those little bottles of boozy goodness look goooood! Have a great time. Take lots of pics. Sorry we'll miss you this time around.:goodvibes

Hey there Sistah Paige! I wish you were going to be there with us.

I'm sorry we're going to be there before you and miss the party. Hopefully someone will be sharing live ( or next day ;) ) updates for us at home. :goodvibes

I'm sorry we're going to miss each other this year Bridget. I can't speak for anyone else, but I know that Jay and I will not be doing live updates. Can you imagine ... me ... trying to do live updates? It takes me hours ... sometimes days ... just to write one review. I'd never leave the hotel room! :rotfl2:

You crack me up woman! That treasure chest is priceless! I'm so excited to be a part of our meet, can't think of a better way to spend the first night of our vacation.:cool1:

Glad you're going to be joining us Kathy! I'm very excited to share the treasure chest of booze with my friendies!

Love the treasure chest of booze! :cool1:

30-50 people?! :scared1: That is more people then I have met in the last two years! :rotfl: It's going to be a lot of fun!

Who among the friendies wouldn't like the treasure chest? ;) As for the meet ... when I started adding the numbers I was a little stunned ... and then I thought ... with all that cake and booze it will be one heck of a meet (I hope). :thumbsup2

Now that's a treasure chest! pirate:

That is some nice looking treasure:thumbsup2

Wish you two were going to be in WDW to take your share of the treasure. :goodvibes

Wow, I just found this thread:badpc: How did I ever miss it?? Since DH and I get there on 10/23, we will miss all the action but can't wait to read all the reviews.

Hey Sue! Sorry we're going to miss you but we'll try to take some good pics and provide some fun reviews after the fact. If you happen to see us staggering around on the 23rd be sure to say hello!

Drunk Man's Chest.

And it's full of boozy booty.

So I guess when everyone shows up it will be a booty call? :rotfl2:

Yo ho ho and mini bottles of rum (and scotch, and Baileys, and vodka, and...)

How could you forget the amarula? Or were you trying to distract everyone else from it?

I thought the same thing when I saw the Amarula.

We've never tried American Honey ... it was an impulse buy because it was sitting on the cashier's counter and it just caught my eye. As for classy ... I think you have us confused with someone else. :rotfl2:

I love spending money ... :rotfl2:

I just spoke with the nicest lady at Yacht & Beach Club Private Dining ... and I have placed an order for the custom birthday cake that all we fabulous friendies shall partake of on October 17th.

It will be a two-tier round cake ... larger layer chocolate with a white chocolate buttercream filling and the smaller round will be vanilla with dark chocolate buttercream filling.

I told them I'd prefer no fondant because it doesn't taste very good and is a pain to peel off the cake before eating anyway (besides ... the cost was getting too pricey with fondant). Asked them to make it festive and incorporate Goofy into it somehow and rather than saying Happy Birthday Brenda asked that it say Happy 40th Birthday ... that way it's like a cake for everyone who's turned 40 this year - or last or even next year! I'm a little leery of handing complete artistic license over to the bakery staff, but they know what they're doing so I'm just going to go with whatever they do.

They're even going to deliver it to the Solarium at 9PM that evening. :thumbsup2

Take lots of pictures, so we at home can see it. :goodvibes You should also select a time where we all , both at Disney and at home can raise a glass and have a toast. Or we all could throw toast like in the Rocky Horror Picture show. :rotfl:

That sounds great. I expect everyone there to take lots of pictures of the cake and little booze bottles so I can live vicariously through you guys.:thumbsup2

Wow!!! Bendy the cake sounds divine. We're all going to take pics of the cake, the booze, and most of all....the friendies!!!!:thumbsup2 I agree we need to set a time to toast the friendies who won't be with us.

Plenty of pictures ... no problemo! And raising a glass at the same time to all the friendies is a great idea Bridget!

Hiya Kathy! I think I'm going to call back to confirm a couple of details tomorrow ... I was talking so fast that I'm not sure I wrote everything down and then I started thinking ... what if that lady wrote September 17th??? :scared1:

Yep ... that's the anal in me coming out big time!

How about 10PM for a toast? Or for the throwing of toast? :rotfl2:

Bendy - We'll be getting up so early that morning, flying in, and drinking at Fulton's, BelleVue and FF, we'll be game to throw or toast anything by that time. CAN'T WAIT!:woohoo:

I'm anal too, I'd be calling back at least once.;)

Mostly I want to double check the date and make sure they don't think I want one layer frosted in chocolate and one in vanilla. The things I think of ...

Lessee ... where will we be drinking that day? In the room ... at the GF Cafe if we don't cancel the ADR ... at the Champagne seminar ... at Tutto's F&W pairing ... and Flying Fish! :cool1:

I think I will let Jay do the cake cutting. :lmao:

Woo hoo can't wait for the cake! It sound WONDERFUL! Thanks for doing this Brenda :goodvibes!

Is there a drinking contest on that day?

There'll be a bit of wine with the food seminar, there'll be the tequila tasting, and wine pairings at Bistro de Paris. :scared1:
