You know Homer's not going to be happy unless he's at a buffet. ;)

Allow me now to introduce our newest, but still green, travel mascot given to us most generously by TheDISneyFamily last year ...

THE INGESTIBLE BULK!!!

WE SHALL OVER-EAT!!!!

I will be guarding my food at our meet. Judging by the looks of that belly, me thinks the Ingestible Bulk could be a cake pilferer.

YEA! 6 weeks! UGH! So close yet so far!:rotfl2:

OK! 19th ... We have La Crema at noon so we have time before Cal Grill at 5:35! Or .. after.. Because we were going to try and do late Magic Kingdom night but really..there are no drinks at MK! ;) So we could do.. what ever this day..Or if X & Y are "not being ... lets say uncooperative".. we could meet when you call and say " I NEED A DRINK STAT"! Which when we have taken people we wish we had the option of! :goodvibes

You've just become Escape Plan B. :rotfl2:
"Relatives got you down? Call us and we'll help you escape!"

"Relatives got you down? Call us and we'll help you escape!"

I like it.. wish I could somehow turn it into a real job! :thumbsup2

I have been the "planner" for a 10 person WDW Food and Wine trip that included 2 people who hate Disney, 2 people who wanted to sleep and work on "issues" when others were around and Jason's parents who wanted to do EVERYTHING!
... Parent A "What's that, don't skip something we might want to see!" ME "Oh it's just Aladdin's Carpets. You have done Dumbo, so it's the same thing." Parent B "It doesn't look the same" Me -" well .. it is except you ride a carpet, not a Dumbo and the line 45 minutes and you want to see Little Richard in another park in an hour!" Parent A "Oh! We can do both!" :headache: These are the moments I turn to Jason and say - WHY ARE WE IN THE PARK THAT DOESN'T SERVE ADULT MOOD STABILIZERS?!

This is why I don't mind being the "back up plan with Lapu Lapu in hand"!:rotfl2:

And you just detailed why I travel solo to WDW.:lmao: During my late teen years I went as part of a "magical gathering", that was anything but. I swore never again! If the Spouse and I have a kid, I'll take it when it's 7- but I'm still not even sure if the Spouse will ever want to go.

And I do understand that the monkey was of age, despite the allegations to the contrary. :snooty:

It's true!

Oh, I can't wait to see the hijinks that the Ingestible Bulk gets up to!

We think he's going to prove to be a most interesting travel companion.

You know Homer's not going to be happy unless he's at a buffet. ;)

I think we have a couple of buffets planed ... one dessert and three, no ... four breakfast. I may need to re-think some of those breakfast buffets ...

I think if we're not careful he'll eat the whole thing. I may have to buy him his own cake to ruin. :lmao:

I will have her on speed dial.

The horror of it all! You think I would have learned my lesson after traveling with Grimace but I wanted to be nice ... I have got to stop doing that ... and here we are. Pineapple bras for everyone!!! :rotfl2:

Aw, I'm gonna miss Plankton...But I do love the new mascot! :thumbsup2

Denise

The Bulk may surprise us all ... we shall have to wait and see. And Plankton is already packing for his cruise next year so you just know he's going to have a ton of fun spending two weeks on the Disney magic.

And you just detailed why I travel solo to WDW.:lmao: During my late teen years I went as part of a "magical gathering", that was anything but. I swore never again! If the Spouse and I have a kid, I'll take it when it's 7- but I'm still not even sure if the Spouse will ever want to go.

Do magical gatherings ever make anyone other than Disney happy??? ;)

I am looking forward to the gluttony. :)

Oh yes ... the gluttony ... we were just talking about Beaches and Cream again today. That No Way Jose is calling to us ... the siren song of hot fudge and melty peanut butter ... six more weeks and it's ours!

Let's talk DISmeet ... just a little. I can't say too much because I don't want to spoil anything but I'm very excited that our little meet between a handful of DISers has morphed into a minor happening. I think we may be looking at somewhere between 30 and 50 people ... that's awesome and a little scary at the same time. :rotfl2:

Anyhoo, the night of the 17th actually seemed to work best for many of us so we're taking over the Beach Club's Solarium about 9:30PM that evening. Jay and I will be supplying birthday cake (I've always wanted a reason to order a custom cake from Disney) and everyone else will be bringing their beverage of choice to share around.

I think it will be a cakey-drinkie good time. :thumbsup2

Jay and I are also contributing a bottle of Meeker Vinyards Fro-Zin to the party ...

Frozin ... but it's still liquid!

Last year our friend Michelle gave us many thoughtful gifties when we met for dinner ... and now our cool lime-green DIS bag will be safeguarding the wine while it wings its way to WDW.

Lime Green ... it's perfect!
P9050027.jpg

BUT ... we are also providing an alcoholic grab-bag of sorts at the DISmeet and today began stocking up on many alcoholic miniatures so that our friends can choose a little something to quench their thirst, 'cause Bendy loves her friendies that way. :goodvibes

We're halfway there ...
P9050029.jpg

We're going to have them muddled up in our handy dandy portable trunk:

Jay and Bendy's Treasure Chest of Booze!!!
P9050030.jpg

And here's a picture of our private stash for the trip ... stash as yet not complete! :rotfl2:

It's barely adequate ...

You crack me up, woman! I am just so sorry we won't get to see this Brendavaganza up close and personal. There had better be lots of pictures.

Is it wrong to call "dibs" on the Amarula? :teeth:

I'm surprised you're not bringing your new wine glasses. :rotfl2:

Hmmm...I wonder if it's too late to change our December trip to October...:rotfl2: Those miniatures look perfect in that chest!!!

Denise

Hiya, Bendy girl! Just checking in....

Those little bottles of boozy goodness look goooood! Have a great time. Take lots of pics. Sorry we'll miss you this time around.:goodvibes

I'm sorry we're going to be there before you and miss the party. Hopefully someone will be sharing live ( or next day ;) ) updates for us at home. :goodvibes

You crack me up woman! That treasure chest is priceless! I'm so excited to be a part of our meet, can't think of a better way to spend the first night of our vacation.:cool1:

Love the treasure chest of booze! :cool1:

30-50 people?! :scared1: That is more people then I have met in the last two years! :rotfl: It's going to be a lot of fun!

Wow, I just found this thread:badpc::badpc::badpc: How did I ever miss it?? Since DH and I get there on 10/23, we will miss all the action but can't wait to read all the reviews.
