Not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but can someone give a tech-challenged person step-by-step instructions on how to copy a photo from my computer pics to a post on the Dis? TIA!

Heya!!!

What you have to do is upload the photos to a third-party site and then post the links from that site. I use photobucket.com. They make it very easy to resize the photos to view on a webpage and for you to copy the proper link.

When you place your mouse over a photo, you will see several share options, click in the IMG code box. if you have windows it will automatically copy the code and then you go to your post and click "cntrl" then "v" on the keyboard.

you have to click on the little mountain icon in the POST or REPLY window,

then insert the link in the popup box

With photobucket, you do not have to click that because the img code is included with the link they copy for you.
