Pictures of ceremony and reception locations

I thought that maybe we could put together pictures of different venues for custom and intimate weddings/receptions. I am willing to organize all of it, if people would want to send me pictures of what they have received from their SMs.

I just thought it would be good to have all of it in one place.

Great idea! I loved looking at venues when I was doing my planning—it really helps to already have an idea of the places you want to see at your site visit. I’ll dig through my pictures at home and post pictures of the WP and the AAR.

Jonette - that is a fantastic idea! Especially for international brides like me who have to pick a venue based on a very tiny photograph in a holiday brochure... actually there was no photo of sunset pointe - they only have one of the WP! I had to search all over the internet to find one!

i just emailed you the pictures i have of seabreeze point at the bwi, the yacht club gazebo, martha's vineyard & ariels at the beach club. the email is 172kb fyi.

and i agree with all the others its a great idea having multiple venue pictures in one place.

Well, I just posted something because I need help deciding. I go back and forth and I am trying to get my contract signed by Tuesday so that I can have everything arranged for my June trip.

Ceremony will be Wedding Pavilion or Sea Breeze Point

Reception will be The Attic or St. James Room, maybe Ariel's

I have been asking Disney to set up an on-line library of photos and videos of their venues for quite awhile now. I have done so at just about every opportunity that I have had, most recently twice during my August vacation. I have told them that many groups would find this information extremely helpful: Convention folks, Reunion folks, Birthday folks, Anniversary folks, Wedding folks, and folks who just plain ol' love to party. Believe me, this subject is near and dear to my high-tech, geeky (and quite fun-loving) heart.

Back to the subject at hand...

I promise that I will eventually post so many photos of the Disney-MGM Studios Theme Park's "Great Movie Ride" and Sorcerer's Hat venues that you folks will be bored silly (I'll also posts photos of our custom fireworks display inside the theme park). My Disney photographers took almost one thousand photographs during my Fairy Tale Weddings vow renewal (don't worry, I won't post all of the photos). They did a beautiful job in capturing the magic that Disney creates with their venues.

By the way, there is a photo in there of the Sorcerer’s Hat venue with the full moon shining brightly. That faraway shot was actually taken of my party’s setup. Yes, my party was graced by a full moon and a lunar eclipse (how lucky can a girl get?). I don’t know how Disney did it, but I swear they special ordered that moon just for me, sigh.~

There are two private rooms for dining at the Contemporary Resort's California Grill Restaurant: the Napa Room and the Sonoma Room. I believe the Napa Room has a Seven Seas Lagoon & Magic Kingdom view, while the Sonoma Room has a Bay Lake view.
