How do you put a picture in your signature? I would need detailed instructions because I am slow when it comes to this kind of stuff. Thanks!

First, Jeneen (or is it George?), welcome to the DIS. Hope you enjoy it here. Stop back frequently, we have lots of fun here. I like your daughter's name, Natalie, my DD is a Natalie also. :)

Go to the Tech board and review the links on this thread.

http://disboards.com/showthread.php?threadid=2770

Look at the 15th (photograph) and 5th one (clipart) You can also use the new DIS photo hosting site http://www.wdwinfo.com/photopost/index.php as a place to place some pictures for linking to in your signature if you do not have a place. Or, if you have a site, you can link to there.

Again, welcome.

Do you have the picture you want to use somewhere on the web already where you can give me a link to it jpmom97? :)

Welcome jpmom97! It's always nice to see other PA'ers here!

I have pictures stored at hpphoto.com, does that qualify as a web site? Also how do you get them on the photo gallery? I may just be a lost cause.

You can try that site and see if they link properly. Many sites do not let pictures link to other sites and all you get is a red x or an ad showing up. Give it a try.
If you have pictures on a site already, you know a bit already as to how to do it.

For the gallery, just go there, register (free) and follow the upload link. You come to the 'browse' button, on the upload page and that will link to your hard drive where you have pictures, I presume. If lost, best place for help is the Tech Board. It will get lost here on the Community Board.

Oh, don't give up hope yet! :) :)

Let's see. . . not sure about hpphoto.com. Best way to find is to try this. . .

1) Open the page with the photo you want.

2) Put your mouse cursor on the photo and "right" click on it.

3) A doalogue box will come up, and at the bottom there will be a choice named "Properties". . . "Left" click on that.

4) A Properties box will come up. In that box there will be a line titled "Address" . Left click on the beginning of it (it'll be "http://xxyyxy etc. ) and drag your mouse over the whole address so it's highlighted.

5) Once it's highlighted, right click and then left click the "copy" option. Then click "okay" to get rid of the properties box.

6) Come back here, hit "reply" to this thread, and then click the "IMG" button at the top of this box. Right click into the box that comes up, and then left click "paste". The address for your photo should be pasted into the IMG box.

7) Hit "submit reply" and see if it works. . then we can go from there. . :)

I just had to say hi and good to see that you ventured over to the CB as well! Nice place with a very nice group of people here (helpful too!). Glad to see that you got your countdown in too!

Trust me, you aren't a lost cause... if you can get the countdown in, I am sure you can get those pictures in. You can always feel free to PM me and I'll be glad to help you where I can and as Dan said the Tech Board has a bunch of people there who can help too!

Thank you! I have a few minuetes while my DS is at school and DD is sleeping on my chest I thougt I could take a look at the other boards. I usually get about 15 min a day on the internet between taking care of the kids and then when my husband gets home from work he takes over the computer. I am enjoying my time when I can.

The LK 4, where is Cranberry Twp? I am in Johnstown.

Cranberry Twp is about 20 minutes north of Pittsburgh. My dad used to live in Johnstown. I remember going to visit the flood museum with him when we were younger.

The LK 4, have you ever heard of Pierogies Plus in McKee's Rocks? I think that is the name of the town. I was wondering how good they were and if I should order some the next time my husband goes down there.

What's a Twp??

I've never heard of Pierogies Plus, but I do know where McKees Rocks is. If they are homemade pierogies, they have to be good!

My husband sometimes goes near there for work so he is going to stop by and get a dozen or two. I love periogies! I saw this place on the food channel and they looked awesome.
