I just stumbled onto this thread and read all 39 pages! Great shots everyone. I love to see the different places around the country. From my spot in Northeastern Connecticut, here is what I have to share:

Taken this morning at one of the lakes in our town.

Wood Storks are on the endangered species list but you'd never know it around here. This time of year we see them all the time. Just this morning I saw 10 of them.

They're one of those birds that are so ugly they're cute.

This was taken this morning in Maple NC. The field is actually right across the road from my house and we see turkey, bear and deer in it all the time.

Sandhill Cranes next to Wal Mart this morning. I assume they were looking for the bird seed aisle.
