Ok.

This last weekend we had an air show in Aguadilla at the municipal airport (about 1:45min from where i live)

When it came to the best part it started to rain and the show was cancelled. Now i'm waiting for next year.

Here are some from where I grew up-Rapid City, SD. The Black Hills start in RC with Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse about 30 miles away. About 60 miles east are the Badlands. Here are some pics of both taken last summer on out trip there.

Here is a picture thru one of the tunnels on Iron Mt. Road. Most of this route including these tunnels was laid out on horse-back. It was built in 1933.

Here are a few from my part of the world- the Weeki Wachee River about 10 minutes from my house. Taken today kayaking with a few friends. The weather was getting a little nasty towards the end there...

The Badlands

Finally, the Stave Kirke. This was in the backyard of the house I lived in when I turned 12 and my dad just sold weeks ago. It is an exact replica of the church in Norway and was built in the late 60's-no nails just wooden plugs. During the summer they hold non-denominational services there and is a very popular place for weddings.

Thanks for taking a look. Its a far cry from the flat lands of IL where I live now.

Mayra - I also went to an airshow recently. It was in Riverside, CA.

I went to the Santa Monica Pier in CA in March. It is a bit of a drive for me, about 45 minutes but it's close enough. I'll try and get shots of my area soon.

I got my USB back up and running so I have some photos to share again, yahoo!

This is a shot of North A1A as we turn out onto it from our street behind that Budget Car Rental on the left side. That large white area at the end of the road in the center is the RC Mariner cruise ship docked at Port Canaveral.

This one is of the VAB building at the Space Center, taken from the port about 2 miles from our condo.

Welcome to Cape Canaveral, Florida.

Being in a tourist area we have two mini golf/go cart places. This is the lovely pink elephant from the one next to our place.
