My family and I will be dining at Kona in January for the first time. We have been to the world many times but never to Kona. I hear so much about the sticky wings and sushi........does anyone have any pictures of food from Kona????

we love kona! it's the first place we go as soon as we arrive each vacation!!

definitely get the sticky wings

everything's delicious especially the fish tacos and island chicken sandwich!

oh boy, i think kona was the best place yet!

i will try to dig up pics from last year.

i remember DH had Tuna Oscar - served with fried green tomatoes, tempura-fried jumbo lump crab, and wasabi hollandaise. i am not a fan of fish by any means and it was delicious!!! and he had the Kilauea Torte for dessert which was phenomenal.

i had the Coconut Almond Chicken - sauteed chicken breast served with Asian greens tossed with honey-lime dressing, golden pineapple, strawberries, and toasted almonds - again, awesome! and the Banana-Chocolate Creme Brulee - with a chocolate spiral which was very good!

my son had the Teriyaki-style New York Strip - sirloin strip grilled with pineapple teriyaki glaze served with sticky rice and stir-fried broccolini - all i can say is OMG!! and for dessert the Kona Kone, which was like 2 feet tall! LOL

definitely will be going back!!

Left to right,: A Magical Star Cocktail - “Light up your celebration with X-Fusion Organic Mango and Passion Fruit Liqueur, Parrot Bay Coconut Rum, Pineapple Juice, and a souvenir Multicolored Glow Cube $10.99." the martini in the middle: for $9.25: Godiva Chocolate Martini, a mixture of “Stoli Vanil Vodka, Godiva Chocolate Liqueur, and Frangelico" Least expensive, on the right, at $7.25, is the “Island Sunset, which was “A delicious blend of spiced rum, coconut rum, melon, and peach combined with our guava passion fruit juice.”

the Pot Stickers, described on the menu as “Wok-seared Duck Dumplings with creamy Ginger-Soy Sauce $7.49”

“Lump Crab Cakes: with Asian Tartar Sauce and Pineapple Relish $10.49”, served on a bed of greens.

Kona Salad: Mixed Greens, Blue Cheese, fresh Fruit, Red Onions, and Smoked Almonds with Citrus Vinaigrette 7.99”

“Miso-glazed Mahi Mahi; served with Asian Noodles and Baby Bok Choy $21.99“ This did not disappoint.

“Teriyaki-style New York Strip: Sirloin Strip grilled with Pineapple Teriyaki Glaze served with Sticky Rice and Stir-fried Broccolini $27.99”

“Ginger-crusted Rib Eye: with Tamarind Jus, Mashed Yukon Gold Potatoes, and Stir-fried Broccolini $25.99 “

Desserts:
“Banana-Chocolate Creme Brulee - crème brulee over a layer of creamy chocolate fudge, topped with a carmelized banana slice & a chocolate spiral $5.99“

"Chocolate Fondue $6.99." The chocolate fondue was served with strawberry, pineapple, kiwi fruit, orange, a macaroon and a sugar wafer.

Kona Kone $5.99 for two over-sized scoops of ice cream, one chocolate, one vanilla in a giant waffle cone. served upright in a conical stand, and drizzled with chocolate sauce and Mickey sprinkles. Then it’s topped with a dark-chocolate mickey candy wafer, and the stand is surrounded by a "cloud" of blue cotton candy. The plate is scattered with candy-coated chocolate candies

AND IT WAS ALL AS GOOD AS IT LOOKS...as well as great service. But NOISY - place was packed on a Saturday night at 7:30 in May
