I'm so sorry I didn't get an update done today. Darren and I are trying to buy an Expedition from this guy that we met with over the weekend..We get the money together and everything, and go to get insurance on it today...And the guy calls and says he can't find the title. He should have had all of that together before putting it up for sale! So I've been dealing with all of that mess today.

Tomorrow I will give you the update on my weekend. I hope you don't mind too much! I know whenever I start reading a trip report, I get interested in the people's every day lives, but I know not everyone is like that so I'm hoping y'all don't get mad and leave me!

Okay, since no one objected, I'll go ahead and tell y'all about my weekend.

My cousin Todd has been singing for years, playing around and local bars and restaurants. Well, he went to Nashville awhile back and got signed with Aria Records. So he wrote some songs with his guitar player, and the cd was made. Saturday night was the release party and it was SO much fun!!!

Darren and I goofed off at home while we were waiting for my brother and his wife to get ready to go.

I put the camera on self timer, but it's only 10 seconds or 2 seconds, and with 10, you're usually smiling like a goon until it goes off....But as you can see, 2 seconds really isn't enough time lol.

They were finally ready so we left. I was really excited for Todd, he's worked hard. He played at our wedding reception. He sings mostly country, so if you don't like country, you probably won't like his songs, but I think they're really good.

My aunts made him this cake:

The show was right by the train tracks...Todd will be singing and say, "Y'all watch out for the train." And just keep on singing lol. It was LOUD. I was worried about all the kids running around, since 3 trains passed through the whole show, but everything was fine.

LOL, I guess it's not only Darren that's always making goofy faces...Oops!

My brother always jumps in and makes a dumb face, don't mind him.

LOL, something doesn't match here!! My uncle jumped into the picture with the girls.

This was supposed to be three of us, but my silly sister cut herself out on accident.

I don't know if I was talking or just making a face lol. I think I was just being dumb.

Anyway, I was really proud of Todd. He's been through alot but still pushed on. He lost his dad a year ago, and became a daddy himself last year.

But all in all, it was a really fun time. The radio stations were there, everybody enjoyed themselves and listened to good music all night. Again, it's country, so don't expect to like it if you don't like that genre!

January 29th, Tuesday. Day 5. Part 3.

After resting up a bit, we got in the van and headed to the Boardwalk. Our mission was to eat at ESPN. Obviously, this was the guy's choice. The only sports I like is LSU football, so you can imagine my boredom. I made the sacrifice for my husband though.

We walked around and took some pictures.

That little chair was so cute!

We got to ESPN and were seated right away. There was maybe one more table besides us.

I got those HUGE fries, Darren and his dad got the nachos, and I think Darren's mom got a roast beef sandwich.

After we finished eating, we walked around a little more, then decided to go to Downtown Disney.

Those skeletons scared the crap out me when they started moving! I wasn't expecting that at all.

Can you spot the real kid?? LOL.

I could spend hours in that store..and millions. I did get a new Mickey ring, a different style than my other ones. Also, I got a hoodie because I was FREEZING, a Mickey washcloth that matches our towels in the bathroom, and my nephew a Squirt. My mom has one on her refridgerator and he LOVES it, so I got him one to keep on his fridge at home lol.

Of course I had to put my hand in Johnny Depp's handprints. He has the same size hands as me!

And I took a picture with Clint Eastwood's handprints for my daddy, because he's a big fan.

We were pretty tired by now, so we headed back to the hotel. Me and Darren went to the food court and got sundaes to bring back to our room. Man, I could go for one of these right about now! Yum.

Then I took pictures of what we bought.

So that concludes day five!! Up next, probably my favorite day of the whole trip!
