Pictures, Dasani, and...More pictures!! *Complete!*

I heard that the storms down there have been crazy lately. Stay safe!

What part of louisiana do you live in? I live in Northeast Louisiana. Right now the wind is really blowing hard Did it really take only 10 hours to drive? Someone told me that it will take like 14 hours. We are going March 12th

Thanks..It wasn't too bad actually, not like they said it was going to be. We didn't even lose power, woo hoo! It's SO boring with no electricity.
By the way, I like your avatar ;) and your ticker! It's so cute :thumbsup2

Yeah that wind was crazy! I live in Hammond, I don't know if you've heard of it. Bout 45 minutes from Baton Rouge...And it does NOT take 14 hours to get to Disney! Are you driving? Seriously, we didn't try to rush, we took alot of stops and everything, and it was still only about 10 hours. It was overnight, so traffic wasn't that bad, but when Darren and I drove for our honeymoon, it was during the day and it still didn't take that long.
Have fun! Where are you staying?

No update today :sad2: It's going to be really bad weather AGAIN. I hate these storms! I hope the power doesn't go out for 8 hours again.

I hope you were okay last night in that storm. I heard about that. It is here right now but it has totally died down.

I know where that is. I guess I live about 3 hours more than you so it might take 12 or 13 hours. We are driving. I thought about stopping in Panama City Beach because we have never been there before and spending the night, to break the drive up, but since our money is funny we might just leave at midnight and drive all night like ya'll did. We are staying at the Fort Wilderness Cabins. I have two teenagers and an 8 year old and they are rowdy! I am scared to stay in a hotel room because of the noise level, plus it has a full kitchen and we are going to cook everything. I checked the weather and it is suppose to be raining the day we leave, maybe it will change before then.

Yeah we're ok! It wasn't that bad here, so I'm thankful for that.

Ooooh, ok. I didn't realize you were that much farther away. We're actually going to Panama City Beach in May.
The cabins should be fun! I hope the weather is not bad, and it might not be. The weather around here changes from one minute to the next!

Yesterday before the storm, me and Darren went outside to pick up the things at the ends of the gutters, because the strong winds would pick them up and they'd be all over the yard like always. Well, Darren happened to turn one over and THIS was under it

A black widow :scared1: :scared1: Sorry to my fellow arachnaphobians, this probably freaked you out. I had the heebie jeebies all night! Darren killed it and put it in a bag. I didn't want to be near it :scared:

Ok, everytime I do an update and change the title, I can't believe how long it was since I last did an update. It really doesn't feel that long, so I apologize for not being more consistent. It doesn't seem like it's been that long!

:lmao:

Yuck that is just nasty gross!!! I hate hate hate spiders, we had a HUGE garden spider in our back yard a few years ago! Can't wait for another update.

eeww. i would not have enjoyed seeing that.

January 27th, Sunday. Day 3. Part 2.

When we got back to our room, we took a nap. We were up by 5:30. Tonight was our Magic Kingdom EMH night!! Those are always the best. So we got ready and headed for the bus stop.

We got to Magic Kingdom and got these right away:

I love the castle all lit up!

We went to Thunder Mountain, but it had a 50 minute wait! No thank you! So we headed to the Haunted Mansion again. It had no wait, so we walked right on. I still like these updates, but the new bride is seriously scary!

Something that REALLY, really annoys me is flash photography on dark rides. One or two times isn't too bad, because maybe they thought the flash was off when it wasn't. But seriously, on Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean, that's all people want to do. Maybe I just have bad luck, but still. In the room with Madame Leota, I swear someone flashed about 6 times. You don't see anything but white lights after that. Have a little respect, people!
It really takes away from the ride.

After the Mansion, we went to Fantasyland and rode Snow White. I think this is a cute ride.

Then we went to Fantasyland to get a turkey leg. We went to the noodle station to try and find a spot to watch wishes. We ended up standing under the overhang, but it was still good. This is my favorite fireworks show! I love it.
Darren took about 50 pictures, but I'll only show a few:

It's Tink!!

I loved watching Wishes from our room at the Polynesian, but it's so much better when you can hear the soundtrack.

After Wishes, we went to the Laugh Floor, and I think this is such a funny show. I'm just worried I'll get picked!! The guy they used for Randall was really into it, it was hilarious. :lmao:

When we got out of there, we headed to the TTA. We go into the tunnel for Space Mountain, and I notice the lift hill doesn't look right....

Wait a minute...The lights were on in Space Mountain!

The pictures are blurry because we took them without the flash. It was so weird to see the track and everything. I told Darren I don't think I want to ride that anymore!! :rotfl: I don't know why the ride was down, but it was interesting to see.

We were pretty tired by now, so we decided to head out of the park before it closed for the night. You just can't win with those park closing crowds!

On the bus ride to the hotel, I noticed the bus drivers don't talk anymore. They just have that spiel with the monorail guy's voice. That's fine and everything, I just miss the fun bus drivers that would do trivia and stuff. Now they don't even tell you what bus stop to go to on your way back or anything. :sad2:

One thing that is cute though, if a little girl gets on in a princess dress, it tells you to be on your best behavior because a princess is on board

When we got back to the hotel, we got a large pizza and breadsticks to split between the four of us. The Coke was STILL nasty and I was wondering what's going on here. You pay for a refillable mug, and you don't even get to use it. The Sprite tasted nasty, too. I guess that was people's second choice lol.
We never had this problem before, so it's not that bad. Hopefully it's better at the Caribbean Beach this September!!

Up next...We head back to that one park with the big golf ball thing (;))
Stay tuned!!!!

Well we're waiting...

:lmao:

Jeeeeez woman! There you go! Happy now? ;)

Yuck that is just nasty gross!!! I hate hate hate spiders, we had a HUGE garden spider in our back yard a few years ago! Can't wait for another update.

Me too! I get chills. I really hate the big brown ones with the long legs and ewwwww, I can't talk about it anymore. It's upsetting, really. Then we went to my mom's and she had one of those big brown ones in her bathroom! It was just NOT a good day for me. :scared:

eeww. i would not have enjoyed seeing that.

I didn't enjoy it either, trust me!

Ewww about the spider! I hate spiders and all insects creep me out. And guess what? My daughter has to do a bug collection for school! :scared1: Hubby is working out of town so it is up to me. I've been asking everyone I know to save me any bugs they find. :scared:

Love the update also! Gotta love the Magic Kingdom at night. I've never seen Space Mountain with the lights on - pretty cool!

Looking forward to more! :)

Yes, actually :lmao: :lmao: Great update! It must have been so cool to see Space Mountain with the lights on! That's something I'd love to see. And we noticed that the soda tasted really bad everywhere we went in Orlando - Disney, Universal, Cracker Barrel... almost everywhere! I think it's because they water it down and Orlando water's is... :headache: It's really, really gross... it even smells bad. We used bottled water the whole time we were down there and could actually taste the water in the soda the few times we had it. It's seriously nasty  That's one thing I don't miss about Florida :rotfl2:

I'm glad that the storm wasn't as bad as predicted :goodvibes

cool pics everyone! thanks

:wave2:

You want me to mail you the spider for your DD's collection?? :rotfl:

Thanks :thumbsup2

so if space was closed how did you get close enough to get pics???:confused3

When riding the Tomorrowland Transit Authority, it takes you through Space Mountain. When the lights are off like they're supposed to be, you only see the rockets lit up as they ride on the track, and people screaming.

Well, usually the Coke is fine, and it was everywhere else. Just not in the Music food court. Florida water always feels sticky to me, in the shower and stuff. I don't like to drink it. That's why I always have my trusty Dasani :thumbsup2

Spiders=gross.
Space mountain=cool!

Agreed! :thumbsup2

Oooh that's weird that it was just the food court. A lot of times we couldn't drink the soda cause we could taste the water in it :headache: At least you got good Coke everywhere else!

OMG that spider was disgusting! that totally would have freaked me out too! :scared1:

but you redeemed yourself from posting that creepy picture by doing an update :thumbsup2 yay for mk emh's! That sucks that everyone was taking pictures with their flas in HM. I did it by accident last year.

I've seen SM with the lights on too. It's really weird.

yum! the large pizza at the hotel is makiing me really crave pizza now.

I know I am leaving something o ut to comment on :confused3 but great update!
