Do they take pictures of you at Discovery Cove with the dolphins or do you have to take your own pictures? I usually take all the pictures in our family but when we are on vacation I like to be in some of them & my husband is not that great about taking them. I also would like to get some family shots. I was wondering if they have something like the Photopass there.

If not, what kind of a camera do you use to take the pictures? I would be afraid to get my camera wet!

You can not take a camera with you when you do the swim with the dolphins. Someone who is not in the same swim with you can take pictures from a large distance.
They (Discovery Cove) take pictures from you and your family with the dolphins, and you can buy them afterwards. There is another post with the prices of the photopackages, I believe you also posted there.

Ya, you can't take pictures while you are in the lagoon with the dolphins. DC photographers take the pictures and like bluedolph1n said, you can buy individual pictures or buy the CD or DVD of your dolphin encounter (they have different packages to choose from). I just wanted to add that the pictures that the photographers take, as well as the video are fantastic. Quality is great. You won't be disappointed. :)

There are many photographers at DC (similar to Photopass photographers at WDW) and they are more than happy to take any pics you want. Your ID will have a bar code on it that they scan and at the end of the day pics can be viewed and purchased individually or you can buy all on a CD for ??$50 I think.

Can anyone tell me if you have two separate groups doing the dolphin swim at different times, can you get both sets of pictures on the same CD?

I understand it's probably implausible on the DVD but I didn't know if they just needed to know what groups or what for the CD. :confused3

TIA! :flower3:

ForAReason: I'm not sure. You might have to call DC directly to get the answer. Maybe if you request it ahead of time, they might be able to do that for you. I know that when we went, they had different photographers/videographers for each group that were in the lagoon at the same time. The video, I'm sure, you can't get in the same DVD because the DVD includes everyone in your group interacting with the dolphins. The CD, I'm not sure. I hope they can so you can save some money. I think the CD costs $125.
