Pictures at a resort

I'm sure this has been posted before but I can't find it anywhere. Can you get your pictures done at various resorts on your wedding day? For instance, my DW and I are having a VR at Sunset Pointe at the Poly, along with the MK photo session that morning, and we are having Randy do our photos. Can we go over to the Grand say before our VR and have pictures there with Randy as long as there are no other brides in there? My DW and I were originally so disappointed with our original wedding that I surprised her with a VR to redo everything and she has her heart set on having pictures at the staircase in the Grand before the ceremony and if we can't she's going to be CRUSHED!!

Yes you can! They just try and make sure there aren't 2 brides together at the same time. Randy is very used to this. Just let him know you would like to go over there and take pics.

You know, I really don't know what I and all the other DISers would do without you!! It seems like whenever a question is posted, you are one of the first to be able to answer it!!!!

Just wanted to add that I discussed this same thing with Randy a few weeks ago. He told me he knows his way around for taking pictures at the Grand Floridian and if there is another bride he will keep us out of sight until we can take our own pics.

we did it.....we got married at YCG & took pics at Boardwalk, Swan, Dolphin & wilderness lodge.....if you dont mind the running around its quite fun!!

My DW and I were just sitting here reading everything and she started to laugh and said, "I don't care about the running. I want them EVERYWHERE!!"

With the 2 brides not seeing eachother how do they do this? I was hoping my dad or uncle will be taking my pics at SBP and Poly where we are having our reception. I can't afford a professional.

From what I hear, I think it's a case of the bride hanging around the corner and the cameraman scoping out the photo site. Someone correct me if I'm wrong on this.

That's what it sounded like to me when Randy and I discussed it. In the case of the Grand Floridian he said we would just go outside to get some shots before coming back to the lobby.
