What land excursions (if any) did you do? And would you recommend them?

The only excursions we did were on Castaway Cay. We did the Banana Boats, Eco-Tour and DH went parasailing. Eco-Tour was great! We all loved it. Banana Boats were ok. We got dumped at first because the rope was messed up and after that I held on so tight that my arm muscles were sore for days, but I was so scared I was going to get thrown off again! Don't like that salt water up the nose feeling! DH loved the parasailing, didn't have it booked, just walked up and was able to get on a boat at 3pm!

About the birthday cake, did they sing happy birhtday and what
time do they do it ? at dinner I would assume?

we have my daughter's 12 birthday the day we disembark and we plan on having a cake the night before. I also wanted to include my son, since we are always on vacation with my daughter during her june birthday (past 5 yrs. now).

do you know if they bring the same cake as the one you got?
it looks yummy!!!

The first night of the cruise our Head Server came over and talked to me about the birthdays. Our TA had told us if there was anything near the cruise dates we wanted to celebrate he would include it in our ressie. DH's was July 30th and DS's was July 18, we cruised Aug 8 - 12, so we included both. I chose what night to sing to them and they did it right after we ate. I would guess that is the standard cake they bring, I saw the same one through out our cruise. I never even tasted it! Didn't even get a picture of DH with it, DS didn't want to be sung to but sure hogged the attention when they did!!! Just have your TA note it on the ressie!
Queenk333, enjoy the time dragging because it seems as soon as its here its too quickly over!
