Hello all, We leave in 10 days! Yeah!!
We are taking our 11 month old DD with us and she will be 1 on the 20th (I can't believe it) and I would like to take her 1-year old photoraph while at Disney. Does anyone have any fabulous suggestions for me? Now keep in mind,we have a pretty strict budget so I was actually thinking of taking the pictures myself this time at some magical spot at WDW. I have heard that the WDW photographers are pretty spendy so unless someone has heard differently I don't think we'll be going that route. I just want to create a magical memory for her since she won't actually remember it herself.
Also, while I'm at it I think I'll create another poll, Where is your favorite picture taking location at Disney for your family?

I voted for the Magic Kingdom. Most of our best pictures have been taken here. :)

For pictures with characters we really like the Toontown Hall of Fame. They have cute backdrops and good lighting so the pictures usually turn out pretty good. We also like to take a picture at the wishing well near the castle and at the partners statue in front of the castle.

If you want to get a picture with the castle in it, try not to stand to far away. People will usually stand so far back to get in all the castle that you can't see the people in the picture. Try to focus on the people with just part of the castle in the background and you'll find you have a much better picture. We use this trick often and have discovered that we really appreciate having nice pictures of our family, rather than nice pictures of the landmarks!

Hey, that's good advice. I remember trying to get pictures of my family AND the whole castle last time and guess what? I got great pictures of the castle but not my family. That's why I want to get some good family shots this time. Thanks!:D

I love taking pictures by the statue of Walt and Mickey, near the Castle...and also in Toon Town at Minnies House
