Somewhere on the DIS, someone once gave us a link to a picture of The Kitchen Sink (the beach and cream monster ice cream bowl). I was thinking it was on this site because I thought is was on a page of a scrapbook.

Was it? If so, would you mind posting it again?

...aka: Cass - I must tell you that your Disney scrapbook is great! I can only hope that mine will be that good whenever I finally find time to get started! ;)

Thanks for the cute website, too. I really enjoyed it! (wished my dh loved wdw like yours does... )

disneyfan551,

well, thanks for the great compliment! I'm sure yours will turn out great when you find the time to do it. I had a blast doing it, I especially enjoyed doing my 2 cruise scrapbooks because it was almost like re-living it!

I thank my lucky stars EVERYDAY that I have DH in my life! He is the most special person in the Universe and there is not one day that we take each other for granted. He is my best friend in the whole world and it's FANTASTIC that he loves Disney as much as I do!!! Can't imagine life without my best friend!

I loved those pictures of The Kitchen Sink. My husband knows what a big desert fan I am, and he's been talking up Beaches & Cream. It was cool to see pictures and I loved your narrative. Can't wait until we go!

Your DH is adorable, Timon. :) I have also enjoyed looking at your scrapbooks. I think the first one I saw was your cruise trip. That wasn't your honeymoon, was it? Seems that you may still be newlyweds...? Anyway, thanks for sharing. I'm going to start taking more pics of food on our trip. Maes me hungry to see yours!

DVCajun,

Grin..thanks! I think he's absolutely adorable too! :) :) :)

The cruise wasn't our honeymoon but we still had fun ;)

We were married in 1998, and this October will be our fourth year as a married couple and we've been together for 6 1/2 years.

I just finished another album (started scrapping our REAL lives) and I got from April '96 till July '98...so tomorrow I will start my next album. I am way too lazy right now to take pictures and post them but one day  My next album will have our wedding/honeymoon pages and I am SO looking forward to doing it!

I can only visit my wdw dining page when I am not hungry :D Otherwise, I just torture myself....ooooohhhh we would kill to have some chocolate croissants from the Disney Magic!

sigh

Timon-- they have chocolate croissants on the Magic?? Where?? I spent a few weeks in France and I'm OBSESSED with chocolate croissants! We'll be on the Magic in April and I don't want to miss them!

BTW-- love your scrapbooks!! You guys look like you're having so much fun!

saturday97,

YES! They have them and they are delicious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Actually, we only found out about them half way through the cruise. We were chatting at dinner with our tablemates and one of them had mentioned having a great chocolate croissant at breakfast....so we tried them and OH MY....we ate 2-3 each morning after that and sometimes we would bring some back to the room :)

They are at the breakfast buffet at Topsiders...I can't remember seeing them anywhere else???

We have a Superstore here that makes chocolate croissants but they can't compare! But we still get them so we can think about how good the ones on the Magic were

Here's a pic of DH with FIVE of them :):):)

About the Choclate crossiants! I agree they are great (in general). I first had some while on a college trip to Montreal, and introduced my fiance to them last Jan while in the world showcase in France, we had stopped in the paterisse for a snack and we shared one (my choice) and something else (her choice).

I can't wait to have them again, I have never really looked for a bakery around here that makes them. Maybe I should?

Mike

Holy Moley, Timon!!

Five chocolate croissants at once-- a man after my own heart!!
Topsiders, here I come - with ziploc bags for afternoon snacking!!
