Here's two from last year's F & G Festival (cuz they go together ....) :goodvibes

Does anyone know if "Tink's Garden" is a year-round thing ... or just during the F & G?

I've never seen it, so it must be a F&G thing... :guilty:

Amazing contributions from everyone this weekend. Here's my Monday "avian" POTD, from the Flights of Wonder show at AK, 2006, taken with the Fuji S5200 (gasp!):

Taken with the old Fuji eh. This gives me hope that I may get some shots like this with my new Fuji on our next trip. Great shot shot Ed. The clarity and color are fantastic!!!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 Any PP on this one??

Jeff, have you been going down every weekend or something? It's going to be well-high impossible for anyone to keep up with you at this rate. :lmao:

Here's a shot for today from DHS...

Dave,

The S5200 is a great bridge camera and, in some ways, I prefer it to the Nikon stuff. It's certainly more portable, and the 38-380 zoom range is very versatile. I like the "pop" the "chrome" mode gives the shots, too. Does your Fuji have chrome mode? Only PP, IIRC, was auto-contrast in Picasa, which is what I used up until late last year. As long as the light is decent, the Fuji did a great job; many of my best WDW shots came from that camera. In low light situations, however, it honestly does not do very well, and that is where the D50/D80 shine. For the money, though, it is a fine little camera.

AWESOME RnRC shot. Probably the best I've seen. Fishyeye, or just ultrawide?

Wow, thanks! That was my fisheye lens, at 10mm. I would have liked to have framed it just a touch to the left but I wanted to cut out the people sitting in front of it. :)

Looking at the exif, I had the camera in shutter priority for 1/125th, which seems very strange to me - I have no idea what I had it in that mode! :confused3 It's funny how the best-laid plans sometimes fall apart when you're actually there in person, spinning dials and such. :rolleyes1

Verily. My worst photo faux-pas at WDW has been forgetting to return to low-ISO, after shooting @ 1600 on a dark ride or show. D'oh!
