That was the first night of two for Roger Hodgson: I came in it and stayed in it and after, even watched Illuminations as rain filled my face! But I did get to watch from the patio in front of the UK for the first time ever!

My POTD from 14 days ago is my arrival that afternoon in full rain gear, yet still a bit damp at the end of the night... but worth it!

Wow!!! We would've stayed longer if it weren't for the fact that we were drenched AND a bit chilled. It was miserable and we were ready to leave. Hate feeling that way at a Disney park, but it was the truth that day.

Wow!!! We would've stayed longer if it weren't for the fact that we were drenched AND a bit chilled. It was miserable and we were ready to leave. Hate feeling that way at a Disney park, but it was the truth that day.

This year was better than last year: last year it didn't rain, but it was COLD! By the end of the night, my feet were close to numb, but not enough that they didn't hurt from the extreme cold! In fact in my later videos (not posted) you can actually see Roger's breath!

Usually the rain will clear out the park (good!) but this day, no! Food and Winoes don't quit easily! Although it did limit the audience in the uncovered seats.

On another matter, publicly commending, and privately drooling over Uncle Greg's picture today, I privately asked him to do it to my POTD from today. He did so, but as I found out later, what went into his picture simply wasn't there in mine, yet he did make significant improvements to it, so I wanted to post them back to back here to share the effects he created. A lot of talent after the lens has clicked! Thank you Uncle Greg!
