WOW - these are all amazing photographs. There is some real talent on this board. Thanks for sharing everyone!

For those night pictures, how were you able to get shots with no people in them (especially in Epcot)? Did you "linger" so you were the last one out of the park or was there some sort of tour?

Are there any photography tours of WDW? I'd love to get that for my dh. Alternatively, are there any books specifically about taking pictures at WDW?

Sorry for all the questions.

Thanks!

LOL!

Two questions: dinner not much different or what? I assume it is table service???

And, do you enjoy the video, narrated TR or the written version?

:)

Jud

Dinner is table service. We ordered the meat and cheese appetizer and did not likd it at all. For dinner, dh had the scallops and shrimp in puff pastry. He did not care for the soggy pastry and the seafood alone was not filling. I had the pork chop, it was dry and under done, I only ate half. We left hungry, felt like the old "elf food" commercial -- needed to find something else to eat. We both agreed that the onion soup was excellent though and would go back just for soup.

As for video v written -- I tend to like written things for the most part for the silly reason that I will get interrupted multiple times when I try to watch anything on the computer.

Richard Sherman has told the story many times of how Walt Disney's favorite song was "Feed the Birds" from Mary Poppins, and he would often call the two Sherman brothers into his office to have them play it for him. So I can't think of a more appropriate picture than this :):

I love this story and this song, too.

....which is why I find these signs all over WDW just a tad ironic.

I do not know of any tours or books about taking pictures at WDW. As far as getting night time pictures without people in them, lingering is your best bet. But you can also do a long exposure, as I did in the pic below, which will "ghost" out anyone as long as they are moving. Or, if you are good enough with post-processing you can erase them.
