Whoa!

Good to see some water in the canals. Last time we stayed at the fort, they were all dry.

DH & I are renting a cabin for the week, with a golf cart and we are really going to try to enjoy some of the special treats at FW! Canoes, trail ride, campfires, Segway tour...

We spent a last minute trip in a wilderness cabin last Dec, a week before Christmas and fell in love with the campground! Now, having his choice of any of the resorts to spend a week at for our anniversary, DH chose FW!!

So nice seeing leaves still on the trees..and everthing green and lush.

Leaves have turned and are dropping off the trees here on Long Island.

Sorry to hijack this thread, but I got so excited when I saw the tail light of my car in your picture. That's my SUV.....yeah, yeah. We were at #555. Doesn't take much to thrill me as you see. I LOVE the Fort.

Hello Frank ......... When did you take the attached picture? The red Expedition in the picture sure looks like our vehicle driving passed the Fort Wilderness sign! On one of our last trips to the Fort I remember when we were passing the sign someone was taking a picture and I thought it might be us in your picture.

I agree I say looking off the bridge before you get to the dog park, or right past it. Depends if you are on the outpost or settlement bus!

Yes, this is the canal with 1400 to the left and 500 to the right.
