Picture of the Day - Chatter Thread

We love that new playground! You ought to see all the surprised parents, though, who wander up and touch the rock and are surprised that it isn't plastic or rubber, but real hard stone (concrete?)!

DGS could spend the whole trip playing there. We have to pry him away!!! The simple pleasures.

When I was there in December they had them at the Ft. Wilderness Trading Posts and at the Christmas Shop at Magic Kingdom.

Hey- where did you get the Mickey patio lights? I gotta have 'em!

I got the Mickey lights at Animal Kingdom. I can't remember the name of the store, but it was the big one across from the Flame Tree BBQ.

We were then too! (Just not at FW, but the Beach Club.) I took many similar pictures. There was even a tree that fell down near our room. It was chopped up and taken away by lunchtime!

When we first arrived there were dump trucks leaving pretty steadily, loaded with cut up trees. Very unusual to see debris laying around, but all things considered, it was cleaned up very fast.

Just wanted to tell you guys I really enjoy seeing all your pictures. We are going to spend some time exploring Ft. Wilderness this summer and would like to try staying there a few nights on a future trip. Our only drawback, as far as I can see, is just having one bathroom in the cabins. We're hoping to go to the campfire one night and just browse the grounds. Seeing your pictures makes me want to stay there at least once, but with the one bathroom thing, it may have to be on a short trip when we don't have everyone with us. Thanks for sharing a beautiful, peaceful side of Disney.

It used to actually be on a loop and was rentable, but they moved it a few years ago to the swamp trail.
