Picture of the Day - Chatter Thread

My guess is that it is one of those stock photos that come on the computer or with new software :rotfl:

I'd say it is either a photo of a Thomas Kincaid painting or it was taken in front of an atmospheric anomoly...i.e. a spectacular sunset.:rotfl2:

yep, that is Sunset Point; now i see why they call it that!

In the mens restrooms at HOOP DEE DOO (etc.) ?

One of my favorite signs.

This last trip to the fort, we were standing by one of those signs, near a comfort station, with a cart parked next to it. Several ladies came out jumped into the cart, and, proceded to drive down the sidewalk that the sign told them not to drive on. I said in a very loud voice something about their not being able to understand a simple sign and got a unplessant look back.

We don't get to camp at FW since we live so close. But we do go over often just to ride bikes and walk the trails and just generally relax. This is my DW & DD relaxing on the porch at Trails End.

Another Fort Free-Loader!!! YaY!!!

HEY,,Whats the big idea !!!
Oopps,,,never mind. If I lived close by I'd do the same thing too.:thumbsup2

I prefer to think of it as "I pay for three annual passes, I'm gonna darn well get my money's worth...NOW GET IN THE CAR!!"

Me too! We've been getting AP's for years now and camping at FtW several times a year, so I consider it my "God-Given Right"!!! We actually trailered our GEM over on the 4th - I was just a tiny bit nervous about that - but the overflow lot was full of people who did the same thing. So - no worries!!:thumbsup2 If you're ever there & see this crazy woman riding her bike with a stuffed otter on her back, don't be concerned. It's only me & Wynottah!

That is funny. I'm always thinking I should bring our Gem over and rent it out for a few bucks. Since this is the pic of the day thread I will add a shot of the NEV, not Disney or Ft Wilderness, but will Celebration do?

Love the Doom Buggy tag!:thumbsup2

it's missing a photo with it's head cut off with a shovel.

That's pretty freaky!

We used to live in a very rural area and rattlesnakes do tend to be in the pine needles...they can hide there.

He/she was in the pine needles between sites. I would never had known he/she was there except for the fact that the birds were going nuts and alarming everything that something was lookin' for dinner. He ended up slithering into the roots of the pine tree.
