Tree work in 400 loop.

Hmm, that's the first I've seen of them actually topping the trees as compared to removing them entirely. Is this happening more often now?? Perhaps they have already removed most of the trees that they needed to, and are now moving onto clearing out the top branches of some of the weaker trees?

I am not sure, what the deal was. Maybe some kid just lost his ball up there????

One possibility is that if they are removing the whole tree, they will start from the top and cut their way down in an area where they can't just cut the whole tree down at once.

I don't get it.

Wait . . . now I get it. :lmao: Geez, I only had to read that a half a dozen times. Sometimes I just don't see the whole picture.

8:00am on Friday April 18, 2008 and the Settlement area was completely empty, no one rushing to get the boat to MK.

Too funny...we kept missing each other...we were less than 100 yard away from you (at our site) when you took this pic! We were getting read to go to Epcot that morning! I love walking around this area in the early morning! :goodvibes

That is too funny, we didn't stop by 100 loop on that morning because we were on our way to MK.

My DH did say that he saw your DH and DD when she caught one of those catfish, but of course he didn't know who they were since he doesn't DIS

I was there later that day for lunch and that area was packed by then. I would like to have been in that pic on the porch having a nice cup of coffee Denise.

I had a couple of them around my campsite in the 200 loop last December. My camper was under some kind of a nut tree or something. I awoke EARLY every morning to their breakfast when they dropped the shells on my roof.

Here is a picture I came across this week in my baby album of me at Fort Wilderness in 1982 at the petting zoo. I was 18 months old.

That is awesome. Someone was just asking about the petting zoo on another thread too.
