So...Why didn't they swap the bldg with the parking lot???...certainly not a great view..

But if you switched Bay Lake Tower with the parking lot, it would be far too big a part of the views from the Contemporary! Also, that would be the end of the great Bay Lake views on the other side, so I think it a reasonable compromise. The unique MK view with parking lot on one side, and more generic view of a nice lake on the other. Considering how dismal the views are from a lot of DVC resorts, I think it does pretty well.

That way people are less likely to be confused and wondering why something looks different than current maps and pictures as they plan a trip.

As someone who follows this thread faithfully (although intermittently), I don't mind the pics from other times, but I would appreciate if they were labeled as such.

Thanks! We walked over one afternoon to it and the Contemp. I like these shots better. They also asked to go to the Vacation Club thing where they gave us $15 gift cards each.

That phone is in the little room/foyer just as you're entering the GF Cafe. It's across from the entrance against the side wall. It looked very lonely over there all by itself on that tiny shelf.
