I had a couple pics on my old desktop but it went down a few years ago and they went away.

I am getting a new external for my b-day next week.

Meanwhile, start burning discs! NO electronic storage media is 100% dependable! That includes discs. Multiple back ups are required!

As my husband says "blessed are the paranoid for they make back-ups and back-ups of the back-ups." :)

One of the very earliest jokes in the computer world, back when it was tape and floppies, and losing data was a 50/50 proposition at any given instant- maybe someone walked into the room and the temperature changed by 1/100th of a degree and it all crashed without warning... one of the earliest jokes had the punch line, "Jesus Saves!".

Back it up folks!

I was over at my photobucket POTD holding album trying to find my picture of that ship- so I hit view all and had several screens of thumbnails- over 500 pictures I have posted here on consecutive days- and at my personal POTD page (same ones for the most part); but in looking it over, boy, that is one hell of an album!

This is just perfect.

Ya- a lot of people were quite taken aback by its removal, figuring another one of those 'corporate' decisions' that have plagued the World over the last few years. But wood rot, well, not much you can do about that once it's done its damage: so i let them slide on this one. Just glad I have "anything" on it! I posted a POTD of the whole thing some time ago...

Much to my amazement, the Disney Parks Blog listed this as a current attraction at the Norway Pavilion. http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2011/05/this-day-in-disney-history-norway-pavilion-debuts/
