What a FUN couple of days for us (sorry Kathy ) at Katie's last performance in the Houston Thanksgiving Day Parade! But I'm exhausted and still have one more weekend activity before we get down to serious Christmas decorating! Quarterfinals football game tomorrow evening!...gonna be a TOUGH one for the team! Really special surprise for our girl after the parade. In our hotel lobby, she and 2 other Dora's were visiting with us when a lady approached them explaining she was tourist in Houston from SINGAPORE. She absolutely LOVED the performance and was so impressed with our girls she asked to have her picture taken with them.

John is starting to feel better and we finally got Paxlovid for Tim. There's a couple of inches of snow on the ground now but we went out anyway. The main roads had been sanded but not plowed and were passable.

May just be a couple inches but sure is pretty! Glad at least half of your "crew" is feeling better! (Thanks on the costumes...we LOVE THEM! Wore them for the halftime performance tonight too and looked "striking" on the field!)

Another totally unexpected victory tonight for our Brahmas! 61-7 against the #2 team (formally ranked ) in the state in 4A football! Only 8 teams left in the bracket and the Brahmas are one of them playing another game next week! Brahmadoras looked AWESOME on the field tonight!

We got some more snow but it's pretty much stopped and I went out and pushed our "Snow Plow" shovel (that's it's name since it's about 48 inches wide and very light) on the driveway so Tim doesn't have to do it. He's feeling a little bit better but is experiencing some side effects from the Paxlovid (will describe later) and best news of all, John and I will work on the turkey today! I also got some new pics of the snow with my fish-eye lens and will work on them later for posting!

Last August we never dreamed we'd be saying we're getting ready for the State Quarterfinal's game on December 1st! Excited for kickoff even though the weather is suppose to be AWFUL with 65% chance of rain!
