Time with oldest DGD today. Seventeen hour day with travel time but such fun and a beautiful fall day here in Texas! Intense game that ended in 0-0 tie!

BEST Friday night football game of the season tonight. 85th game between 2 neighboring towns resulting in a victory against arch rivals with a final score of 69-0 ! Total surprise when DGD walks up the steps to our reserved seats! She traveled almost 4 hours for #1...a hamburger from the 4-H Stand at the Fair (she absolutely LOVES those burgers and it's been 3 years since she's had one!) and #2 ... attend this game. Has to leave REALLY early tomorrow morning to get back to HPU for a homecoming activity and afternoon soccer road trip game but it was worth it for her! AND...after years of attempting to photograph the "circle sequence" of the hoop routine, this amateur photographer with the "point and shoot" camera did it! Thirteen sequence shots and only had to delete one! Now...if DGD would only keep her eyes open (her eyes were closed in 8 of the 12 photos ) it would have been perfect!
