LONG day as we hit the road for the final "total 8 hour drive back/forth" for DGD's last college soccer game as a freshman...and the team FINALLY pulled out a 2-1 victory!

She learned from "the Master" (aka her DAD)! Stand up to the ref if you feel it necessary!

May not see these smiling faces after the game this evening but those smile "make my heart sing"!

WELL...the soccer team proved me WRONG! They weren't ready to "call it a season" and played their hearts out tonight! After a long, exhausting and somewhat painful day after morning dental procedure, those smiles made ME smile!

I posted this on Facebook earlier and her Mother...and the Coach....went OMG! They saw her fall but not this "up close and personal"! And...David and I always laugh when our friends say, "I'll bet you're glad your granddaughters play soccer....it's NOT a very "physical game"!
