Had our 2nd Covid vaccination shot yesterday and it "kicked our butts".Sore arms, headaches, dizzy and body aches but we couldn't miss watching our beloved DGD and the Brahmanettes tonight. DD and her husband drove us to the game and SO worth the effort. Made my heart smile when, after the game, the girls yelled at me from the field..."MIMI...take our picture"!

I had my 2nd one Monday and it also knocked me flat that night including a fever and total exhaustion. I'm still wiped out today but so grateful that we both now are vaccinated!
I'm REALLY "moving slow" today; yesterday wasn't too bad. Have "aches" in my lower back especially and absolutely no desire to do anything today. Hoping the extra cup of coffee gives me the "kick" I need and headache doesn't get to bad. I'm still not convinced this vaccination business is going to be effective. When the drug companies can tell me "you're good for at least a year" I'll be behind it but reading some of the "this vaccine could last 3 years...and it could last 3 MONTHS" articles makes me shake my head. I certainly don't want to go through this every 3 MONTHS!
But yes...feeling grateful we're vaccinated for the time being.
Hope you get your energy back in a few days too! Take care and rest.

So happens I have my annual checkup at the heart doctor tomorrow and anxious to discuss it with him. Still feeling a little on the dizzy side but body aches aren't nearly as bad as the were earlier in the day. Be aware!
