Knee held up for our baby girl and she got some playing time last night! Did a pretty good job too!

Emotional day for Dad, Mom, Mimi and Pappy...DGD scores 1ST COLLEGE SOCCER GOAL ; THEN DGD gets injured . Concussion protocol, nose, knee and ankle ... ice, rest, pain meds and and reevaluate Monday...

...and because of the 2 hours in the training room and getting her settled for the weekend, we were late to the Princesses game and missed her play in the first half ! But she still had a smile for us!

David made the same comment yesterday! We're getting close to the anniversary of last years visit...before all hell broke loose with this virus...and on our long drive to soccer yesterday we were talking about "spring break".

Thank you and yes, good report at trainers this morning. No concussion but very bruised nose and knee. He's most concerned, and puzzled, with the ankle. A lot of bruising but is tender to the touch on the opposite side so they're adopting a "wait and see". We were very worried about the knee and possible dislocated kneecap ... it's fine. She won't be making any "plants" with that leg for a few days though! Really sore but happened at a "good time" right before the weekend. Ice, elevate and Epsom Salt soaking on her schedule for today and tomorrow.

....that's what kept happening to my niece [she's a HS senior] and they finally had to operate last June because it was happening too many times...
