Got in some high school football over the weekend. All games played in the Carrier Dome on the Syracuse University campus as the NYS Section III crowned their 2016 champions. This was the catch of the weekend for both the team and for me.

Like Scottwdw, my mind is on football too. We start the march to the State Championship this Friday night but my favorite photo from last weeks District Championship match is of the head coach...standing up for his boys :

“Life is a Highway, I Wanna Ride it All Night Long”
November 7, 2016

Just shortly before this image was made I was saying to my wife, I don’t think we’re going to get any color, it’s too grey. Yea well, as the magic in the sky began so did the Cars Land DJ’s Dance and Drive with the Flo’s Dancers right there in the intersection. The music was playing, the crowd was dancing and singing along, and the sky lit on fire.

There are several iconic scenes in the Disneyland park, the Castle, Matterhorn, Small World and Main Street. In Disney’s California Adventure there are several too, but without a doubt the neon of Flo’s V8 Cafe and surrounding buildings and of course the Radiator Springs area are the jewels of the night.

Just a great topper to a couple of days at Disneyland and DCA for fall 2016 DapperDay.
