Quintessential Disneyland
April 20, 2016

Warm afternoon light, a cooling breeze, balloons, a castle, a marching band and happy guests lining the street. This photograph I think makes me happier to look at than any other I’ve made at Disneyland. If I ever need a little smile in my day, or a reason to get back to Disneyland all I have to do is look at this shot.

We all wonder from time to time, would Walt be happy with his original park? You know, I think he would.

Gatlinburg?

Yes, it's Gatlinburg. My oldest daughter and I rode the chair lifts while my wife and youngest were scared to go up the mountain.

Thought so; we drove right past the upper end of the lifts when there in 2013.
