I just got back from DLR and loved having that lens for so many things. With the high usable ISO on my 6D it even worked great for dark rides. I did swap out and use my 24-105 f/4 some days just because it's lighter, but any day I knew I'd be doing some low light shots, I went with the 2.8.

If you're doing the Christmas party, it's a great time to have a 2.8 lens!

And great gull shot!

Sleeping Beauty’s Castle - Turrets and Spires
November 8, 2015

From across the hub and though the trees on a comfortable afternoon the Castle stands above all of its “lands”. It makes me think of the classic and timeless photographs of Walt with the castle. Of him walking alone though it into Fantasyland. Of him with with his grandson Christopher sitting on the lawn in front of it. And of course with him and Mickey, the last known photograph of Walt in the park.
