Morning Thunder
October 7, 2015

Visited the parks mid-week, Wednesday October 7, 2015 with a friend. We both had the day off and she just got an AP, this was to be her first day with it.

Our plans was to hit Peter Pan directly after the “rope drop”, and we did head that way but the attraction wasn’t up and running yet. Ok we thought, Pirates is nearby. Nope, not up yet. Haunted, nope… We could hear the rumble of the Big Thunder Mountain Rail Road, so off we went. The morning light bathing the spires let us know today would be a good day!

Taken from outside my front door last night. Yes, I know the picture composition isn't ideal what with the electric wires and everything...but when lightning strikes, photo opportunities take precedence first and foremost. Closely followed by safety.

Headed back to Fillmore Glen State Park last weekend. Autumn was fighting over summer as golden Beech trees were mixed in with the unchanged maples and oaks.
