Anticipation

Have you felt it? I’m sure you have. Maybe boarding an airplane headed to that magical place? Getting up before the sun does to drive as it rises? Bringing your child for the first time? Holding the hand of someone you love as you first spot the Castle at the far end of Main Street.

I’ve had the opportunity to ride in the front of good old “Orange” once. As you depart Downtown Disney the Esplanade comes into view in just a few seconds. As you glide by over the Main Gate you overlook the Main Street Disneyland Station and see that stretch of Main Street, your eyes pulled towards the jewel, the Castle.

If you are lucky, you feel the excitement again of being a child on their first visit. Thank you Walt.

Saw this composition browsing through flickr and wanted to give my take on it. Used the Tokina 16-28mm lens at 16mm, tripod and did a three photo HDR image using Photomatix Pro.
