Why, thank you! When I first spotted the sailboat, I wasn't sure he was going to make it into the frame in time.

I protest, capturing the Utah parks is not easy with all the other people around and only having a short time to do so. Unlike the photographers who make Utah their home, we have to hope/pray/beg for good conditions when we are there. Thankful, the western US has lots more good conditions than bad.

Unlike the photographers who make Utah their home, we have to hope/pray/beg for good conditions when we are there. Thankful, the western US has lots more good conditions than bad.

Well, there is that. It does frustrate me to no end that we often have no choice of when to be in a given park, and that we always seem to end up somewhere beautiful when it's shaded.

There's a reason we return to some of these parks over and over. Sometimes it's about just wanting to take it all in again. Sometimes it's because Mom wants to see it at sunset or some such thing. (insert eye rolls from the kids. )
